LSS Newsletter Issue 03 Feb 11.02.12 Hi London Speedlite Scene (LSS) It’s come as a surprise to us all but we have decided to print our 3rd LSS newsletter only 8 days since our last publication!!! This is due to the popularity of the last edition which to date has pulled in over 1,415 views and counting. If all goes to plan we will print a new issue no less than on a bi weekly basis. This is to ensure you all are kept up to date with LSS and its other supporting networks. A very cold start to February it has been, already we have seen snow fall on two occasions which to no one’s surprise resulted in some amazing photographs being taken. One of my favourite images was not taken outside in the cold but the photo remained true to the weather conditions all the same. It was a Snow Queen themed shoot that was created within the LSS Studio. I like this photo as it reminded me of a book I read as a kid, namely The Lion Witch & the Wardrobe. LSS Website There are 551 members on the LSS Website which has been seeing an increase in traffic recently. Since the New Year started over 160 new members signed up. Improvements to the site now include an updated chat room feature and new profile questions to customise your personal page with. All members of the website enjoy uploading their images to the site but only photos from the LSS Meetups or LSS Studio Events are featured on the main page.

Elect Model Management We like to welcome and introduce everyone to Annalisa Winter, new inductee to Elect Model Management. Annalisa is a stunning beauty and fashion model who is a natural in front of the camera. NEWS Intense Makeup Artists We asked one of the founding members of Intense Makeup Artists, Teena Labeeb what inspired her for the look in the above photo taken back from our 8th Meetup at Holborn Derelict Court House.

I decided to combine this look on her eyes as it'd be the most creative area to encompass the feature. The idea for a murder trial also came up which explains the blood stains on her neck which I created using some lipstick and a variety of blood like red eye shadows. For the eye make up, it was simply a nude base applied all over the lid and used a very fine black eye liner to create the pattern of the cobwebs.� LSS will always love Teena Labeeb MUA x
