LSO Sing wants to get the whole of London Singing! This autumn the LSO has an abundance of exciting opportunities on offer for singers of all abilities. Highlights include explorations of choral masterworks by Elgar and Haydn, an American themed Community Singing Day, the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sing in a world premiere performance and our annual Christmas choral celebration. It promises to be an exciting and diverse season, and I hope that you can join us and sing along!

BERNSTEIN CHICHESTER PSALMS The Chichester Psalms is one of Bernstein’s most reflective and life-affirming works. It is a synthesis of Judaic and Christian traditions, sung entirely in Hebrew and set in the mellifluous Christian choral style. Come and explore vocal works by some of America’s great composers, ahead of the LSO’s performance of Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms on 6 November.
LSO CHORAL SINGING DAYS Choral Singing Days offer a unique opportunity to get to grips with iconic choral masterworks under the direction of award-winning LSO Choral Director Simon Halsey ahead of the LSO’s own performances later in the Barbican season. Members of the London Symphony Chorus will be on hand to help you find your notes, but some sight-singing ability is recommended. LSO COMMUNITY SINGING DAYS Community Singing Days are suitable for singers of all abilities, whether you sing regularly in a choir or have never sung before. Our experienced conductor David Lawrence will guide you through a diverse selection of repertoire whilst choral coach Ghislaine Morgan offers expert advice on vocal style and technique. Both Community and Choral Singing Days will be accompanied by piano.
