The Concert Scene

The outdoor and indoor concert scene provides amazing performances ranging from amazing local musicians to national artists. Crowds are delighted with variety of offerings and venues. We’ve jumped in the live music scene in Longview!

Tomboni’s Bistro

Every Wednesday and Saturday night under the fairy lights local musicians come to play for this quaint restaurant’s clientele. Make sure to come early as seating fills up very fast! This venue is adult only, perfect for a cozy and intimate dinner. tombonisbistro.com

Downtown Live at Heritage Plaza

A fan favorite in Longview, Downtown Live offers good music, good food, and good company all wrapped into one. Offering a variety genres from blues, rock and down home country to event jazz, attendees are guaranteed to find something to suit their tastes. There’s zero charge for attending and beer and wine is available for purchase. Hungry? Food trucks from all over the region come out to offer their services. Longview Arboretum and Nature Center

A long-awaited Longview attraction, the Longview Arboretum consists of 26 acres of genuine East Texas landscape. The only thing to make these picturesque views better is some amazing live music. Roots in the Gardens is the fall and spring concert series offered on Thursday evenings. Attendees can pack a cooler and bring their lawn chairs or a blanket for a spectacular evening with friends and family. LongviewArboretum.org

East Texas Symphonic Band

Since its inception in 1988, The East Texas Symphonic Band has entertained audiences and secured coveted accolades such as being designated the North American Wine Band of 2014. Each member of the ETSB is a volunteer musician and whether they are an engineer, a lawyer, a nurse, or a teacher; these musicians share a deep passion for performance. Director Dr. James Snowden leads the band of 65 volunteer musicians providing beautiful concerts at LeTourneau University’s Belcher Center. ETSB is sure to delight music lovers. etsymphonicband.org

Longview Symphony

The Longview Symphony (LSO) offers concerts comprised of professional musicians at the LeTourneau University Belcher Center. The LSO emerged in 1968 providing live orchestral performances of classical music for all of the region to enjoy.

Community outreach is important to LSO, so they created and launched the Bach’s Lunch series featuring music of Bach and other classical pieces while showcasing local musicians. Bach's Lunch recitals are typically held on Fridays in downtown Longview. This series appeals to a diverse group of people that love classical music. longviewsymphony.org

Belcher Center – LeTourneau University

The S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center is an amazing concert hall for all of East Texas to be proud of! Its world-class acoustics and staging has been attracting performers since 2007. Each year the Belcher Center offers a new concert series. Attendees enjoy the opera-style balconies which provide phenomenal views from any of the 1400 seats available. Performances from hit Christian artists like Lauren Daigle, to chart-topping musicians such as Michael Bolton and the Beach Boys have graced the Belcher Center’s stage. Kokomo Theatre

In 2017, international recording artist Kelli Grant returned home and opened an outdoor theatre known as “a drive-in theatre without the cars”. At just over a halfacre, the venue of provides the perfect setting for a natural amphitheater. Up to 400 spectators can sit back in their lawn chairs to watch performances and enjoy Branson-style theatre. kokomotheatre.com

Leon’s Steakhouse Saloon

Live concerts at Leon’s cater to a wide range of musical tastes while featuring local artists. This unique steakhouse saloon venue provides a great menu and beverage offering. "Fridays @ Leon’s" is known for their atmosphere and is perfect for date night or a group gathering. Regulars know to watch the Leon's Facebook page to see who is performing.
