Hello Readers,

Are you feeling happier and brighter now that the evenings have got lighter? I know I am! Spring has finally sprung which for me conjures up feelings of new beginnings, and here at Look Local HQ we have an exciting development to announce as we launch our new website and online directory. The directory has been created for those businesses who want to get a presence online as well as in print format. We have a number of options available to businesses so please take a look at www.look-localmagazine.co.uk/online-advertising. We also have a new What’s On Calendar allowing you to add your local events, which we will of course share on our Facebook & Twitter pages as well as in the magazine if the dates tie in with publication dates. News stories and editorial contributions are always welcome too and should be emailed to editorial@look-localmagazine.co.uk. On the subject of editorial contributions, we have another new feature to shout about this month in the form of our Get the Look item. In each issue, Jade Coulon from Coulon Stone Ltd will be offering Interior Advice and discussing Key Trends for the home. Turn to page 27 for this issues instalment. Our competition this month is another hugely exciting one! Fancy winning tickets to see rock legends STATUS QUO, right here in your home county? Turn to page 19 for information on how to win this fantastic prize. And thank you to Astonbury for providing us with the tickets. There is also still time to enter last month’s competition to win tickets to Abingdon Air & Country Show (closing date: 15.04.16). Details for this can be found on the competitions section of our website. Another service we offer here at Look Local, that you may not be aware of is printing. So please so give me a call if you require any marketing collateral for your business or programme printing for your events and I can provide you with a competitive quote. Until next month, happy reading...

MOTORING :in the spotlight... Renault Kadjar Reviewed by Tim BarnesClay, Motoring Journalist @carwriteups

The French-made Renault Kadjar is one rung higher up the greasy pole than many of its competitors.

The French-made Renault Kadjar is one rung higher up the greasy

pole than many of its competitors.

You see, there are lots of Qashqai clones on the market, but the Kadjar genuinely shares the popular Nissan’s platform and power units. What’s more, the car is cheaper to buy than the fashionable Qashqai and has that extra sprinkling of French flair. The front-wheel-drive 1.6 dCi 130 Signature Nav, on test here, is impressive. The turbo-charged oil-burner starts out fairly meekly, but then things under the bonnet hot up, resulting in plenty of mid-range pull. This is satisfying because it means you don’t need to work the gears hard to utilise the clout on tap. Push the Renault into twisty country lanes and the car stays bonded to the tarmac. There’s a little bit of body roll noticeable, but it never disturbs ride comfort. In fact, the Kadjar arouses confidence in this sort of driving environment due to its consistently well-weighted steering. The brakes are excellent, although their urgency takes you by surprise on occasion. However, a capacity for quickly scrubbing-off-speed is no bad thing. The gearshift-action is a little heavy, and some diesel-din sneaks into the interior when the whip is cracked, but this Renault is not the sort of car bought by out-and-out driving enthusiasts. It is a vehicle that will spend the majority of its time in town, on the school run or on family outings. Unsurprisingly then, the Kadjar is comfy for a family-of-four and handles scarred, urban road surfaces well, due to its nicely-cushioned suspension set-up. The boot is better than the Qashqai’s, in terms of load space, and it has the same ingenious flooring that can be elevated, dropped, or used as a partition to keep your possessions from tumbling about. Indeed, the Kadjar is a pleasant place to be, due, in no small part, to it having one of finest cabin’s in its class. From a tech point of view, the glass is just as full. The sat-nav system is a doddle and – in this flagship model – the car comes fully loaded with a top-quality Bose sound system, Bluetooth, faux leather upholstery, and a panoramic sunroof. Definitely more important than cabin toys is a car’s safety prowess. And the Kadjar has layer upon layer of kit to keep you protected. Equipment includes traffic sign recognition, lane-departure assist and

06

even parking sensors at the front and the rear of the car. As mentioned, the Signature Nav is the top of the tree model, so unless you really need all the trimmings, you’ll enjoy the Kadjar just as much in its slightly lower-down-the ladder ‘Dynamique’ guise. The car is still wellappointed and represents excellent value for money, whether bought outright on a PCP finance deal. To be honest, it’s hard to justify buying a Nissan Qashqai now that the Kadjar is on the scene. The car is just a goodlooking, it’s great to drive, it has a bigger boot and its price-tag is lower. Unless you’re desperate to have the Qashqai moniker ornamenting your drive, save yourself some cash and go for the French marque instead.

FIX Practically Stylish STAND OUT IN SILVER

A big trend with Louis Vuitton this season although a colour that rarely disappears for long. Wear this spring with the pastels and pale colours which are featuring everywhere and you’re adding lightness and brightness, especially if you are fair and have a very pale skin tone. Great in a bomber jacket (see below), cardigan or belt just for a little bling.

Look the

BOMB!

Time to dig out your bomber jacket but unless it is in pristine

condition with no signs of Hubba Bubba or fluorescent spray paint, check out the ones in the stores. Bombers have taken a truly oriental turn and it is all about satin, dragons and intricate pattern. But if you’re not as brave as Jared Leto who has a gorgeous Souvenir Jacket all the way from China then more low key offerings can be found in Versus - in groovy camouflage, Levi’s Vintage Seal Bomber is more classic, along with H&M, Belstaff and Topshop. Pink Stripe Pleated Midi Skater Skirt New Look £24.00

Bright Coral Pleated Skirt River Island £10.00

10

Metallic Silver Bomber River Island | £45.00

Black Orient Bomber Jacket Topman | £28.00

French Connection Bomber Jacket in Silk £60.00 COM-PLEAT YOUR LOOK Resembling tropical birds was popular with designers such as Stella McCartney and Chloe on the catwalks. Look for pleated dresses and skirts, maxi dresses and maxi skirts, in satin and sheen and more importantly in bright primary colours. We will never tire of red and white with navy, so fresh looking. WOW (Word of Warning) the width of the stripe widens the wearer in the same direction! So, consider thinner stripes in more contrasting colours if you are an average size, for the lean wear vertical and wide.

Hello Readers...

*Hello Magazine, 7th March 2016.

Even fashion guru and style icon Victoria Beckham appears to have stepped into the breach of REALISTIC STYLING and PRACTICAL FASHION recently stating ‘I just can’t do heels anymore...clothes have to be simple and comfortable”*. Well, we could’ve told you that VB but considering she has been known to openly declare her loathing for flat shoes this is quite a breakthrough! This month’s feature is all about fashion that is practical - including all the key trends and advice on how to wear, bend and shape them to work, for guys and girls, to help you update your wardrobe (I hope you have banished the burgundy and browns already!) Being British requires compulsory quirkiness, one of the reasons why I am hoping to grow my business in the US - they love it! As do I. So embrace your individual styling, pic n mix, mix ‘‘n’’ match and feel comfy. If VB is doing it, then it’s good for the rest of us!! And as slides and mules are coming back round as a key shoe trend, we (the female ‘we’) can all breathe a sigh of relief. “Fashion is about dressing according to what’s fashionable. Style is more about being yourself” - Hear, hear Oscar de la Renta. And although I love my FASHION FIX, style is what it’s all about.

with love, Jo xx

Slip Dresses are stunning and who doesn’t look fantastic in silk? But keep the styling and accessories simple and the hemline longer than your bedtime nightie. Just add gorgeous heels or simple sandals, fine ear-rings and natural lipcolour. Cross Strap Slip Christopher Kane and Chloe have some gorgeous Dress | Topshop examples, as do Mango (in gorgeous light teal). £29.00 And for the more adventurous of the Look Local readers here is a quick rundown of the more abstract trends this season; •

Remember Ra-Ra skirts? Ruffles are back for the summer in either modern graphic, pretty florals or block colour

80’s costume - leather and t’s, metal and fishnet

Charlotte Cut Out Shoulder | Boohoo

Statement ear-rings - ‘TOO BIG’ is a phrase which you won’t hear this summer

Animal print - like silver, never seems to leave the shops

Off The Shoulder or even Shoulder Cut Out in blouses,

Large Checks - the bigger and bolder the better - but will make you look bigger and bolder so great for slim figures

Monogramming is taking off - Burberry have been offering the service for a long while but now that Top Shop have taken on the service the concept will be a popular one

Trackies - silk, satin and sensuous, no viscose allowed

dresses and teamed with stripes - a fresh spring look.

Ribbed Cold Shoulder Top | H&M £12.99

I look forward to seeing you around Oxfordshire wearing your new seasons trends. with particular availability to those with any form of disability.

Bowen has been able to help a variety of conditions such as colic, bedwetting, eczema, headaches and anxiety, ADHD and hay fever.

A child’s Bowen Therapy is very gentle. Many report finding it a pleasant and relaxing experience. All treatments are carried out through light clothing whilst the parent/carer remains in the room. Some childhood conditions may require regular Bowen sessions. The Tom Bowen Legacy Trust Fund The TBLTF (UK) is a non-profit making organisation set up to help children with disabilities. It provides grants for equipment to children that have received Bowen Therapy. In last month’s issue of Look Local we wrote about a gorgeous little boy, Josh (pictured left with his baby brother. Photo credit: Laura Witherden Photography), who is now the proud owner of an iPad, with a gooseneck holder thanks to the TBLTF. He is also eagerly awaiting the delivery of a swing. His Mummy reports ‘this has been nothing short of life changing for us all’ To celebrate International Bowen Week Jen is pledging £1.00 for every client she see’s, in April, to the TBLTF.

My child isn’t talking enough?

It can be a difficult to know just when to ask for help with your child’s communication skills. Friends may be quick to reassure you that “each child develops at their own pace” or reminds you of little John who “didn’t talk until he was three” and the array of information on different websites can be confusing. Speech and Language Therapist at Thame Therapy Clinic , Thildie Peacock hears this often and in this article she explains more about communication development skills in young children and potential problem signs to look out for.

W

It is true that each child develops individually, and some learn to talk quicker than others. However, there are some “typical” ages when we would expect most children to have mastered specific speech and language skills.

finding it difficult to pay attention or listen, especially when they are busy playing.

when their speech sounds like a much younger child, or they are so unclear only very familiar adults understand them. By pre-school age, children should be understandable even to a stranger.

Children need to have at least 50-100 words by age two and be putting a variety of two words together by age 2 ½, such as “big car” or “daddy’s shoe”.

A Speech and Language Therapist will be able to tell you if your child is still developing within the expected range for their age, or will need extra help. Therapy is play-based and uses fun activities to boost a child’s confidence. During therapy sessions parents will be shown activities and strategies to practise at home to ensure that the child can make the best progress possible. I am happy to have a chat with any concerned parent to discuss if speech and language therapy may be helpful to your child.

Warning signs for young children: •

Lulu, Lauren, Frankie and Thumper!

No, not well known pop artists or movie icons, but some of the aircraft and a top female aerobatic pilot appearing at this year’s Abingdon Air and Country Show on Sunday 1st May. Providing a great day out for all the family, with “something for everyone”, the motto “not just an air show” describes this event perfectly and it is hoped the line-up, both in the air and on the ground will once again attract a great crowd.

N

ow in it’s seventeenth year this volunteer run, Oxfordshire event is one of the most popular outdoor shows in the area attracting visitors from far and wide. As well as being treated to a whole host of air and ground displays and activities, visitors to the show will also be helping to raise money for well-known charities and local good causes, with the main beneficiary being the Thames Valley Air Ambulance. Flying forms an integral part of the show with most of the display aircraft being joined on the ground by a large number of static exhibits and many other aircraft that simply ‘fly-in’ for the day. The four hour flying display will include the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster - “Thumper”, Spitfire and Hurricane; “Lulu Belle” a 1940’s Kittyhawk; top UK aerobatic pilot Lauren Richardson in her Pitts Special and a superb close formation duo involving P51 Mustang “Ferocious Frankie” and a Spitfire. Other display elements include vintage fighters and training aircraft, a Catalina WWII search and rescue seaplane, aerobatic aircraft both individual and team, vintage helicopters, a motorised glider, a modern Autogyro and the world’s largest bi-plane the Antonov AN2*. In the showground the ‘country’ section welcomes back David Hughes from Hawkwalk with his wonderful falconry display highlighting British birds of prey; ferret racing and country craft demonstrations. Debut appearances will come from the Oxfordshire Search and Rescue Dogs, Abingdon Young Farmers and, subject to operational commitments, the Thames Valley Police Mounted Division showing off their

beautiful horses and demonstrating their unique horsemanship skills! Dance and music are always an important element and welcome ‘firsts’ come from the Oxfordshire Rock Choir and Cornocopia (Appalation Clog dancers). The event welcomes back Blues & Boogie singer Greg Pullum, the Viv O’Gara Irish Dancers and, the Radio Days Big Band with their swing and dance ‘sounds’ from the 1930’s to the 1960’s. Also returning, after a number of years away, will be the Oxford Sea Cadet Marching Band. For the children, there’s traditional Punch and Judy, a wide selection of amusements including flight simulators and of course our ‘friends’ the Daleks. For those who like to ‘browse’ there are trade and craft stalls; for the engineering-minded, tank rides, steam engines, vintage and exMilitary vehicles, model boats and, for everyone, food and drink! So as you can see, a jam-packed, fun-filled day for all the family.

See you there!

WIN

COMPETITION A PAIR OF TICKETS to see STATUS QUO LIVE at Kingston House Park Estate

Status Quo to Rock Oxfordshire on May Bank Holiday Weekend for their last ever, full electric tour.

The show will see Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andrew Bown, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards, and Leon Cave take to the stage at Astonbury, Kingston House Park Estate on 29th May to play hits, both old and new, from their back catalogue. The leading rock band will be supported by Wilko Johnson, Dylan Howe, and Norman Watt-Roy. The team behind the Astonbury Festival are this year bringing rock legends Status Quo to Oxfordshire. Astonbury is a boutique music festival based in the rural countryside just outside Chinnor. Now in its 9th year, the festival, which takes place in the summer, is extremely popular and well known for promoting local and national musical talent. It provides a platform for amateur and up-and-coming bands allowing them to share the stage with some of the biggest stars and hottest acts in the music industry. This year Astonbury is adding another concert to its schedule and has secured Status Quo as the headline act. Francis Rossi said, “We’ve talked about it for some time and have decided that it’s time for us to hang up the electrics. It’s getting harder and harder for us to play those shows. It’s 30 years since we last said we were stopping but this is a final decision. It doesn’t mean we won’t do other things, perhaps the odd special, but we’re agreed that the moment has come. There’s more to come from us in the years ahead, but we won’t tour the electric set ever again”. Since first charting in 1967 the band have become a truly iconic and massively influential rock act. They regularly perform at local open mic events and will be performing at Music in the Park (Sunday 1st May) and Beacon Fest (Friday 17th and Saturday 18th June) this year.

Q: How did you first meet?

A

: We first met next to a campfire at White Horse Hill in Uffington, Oskar was playing his ukulele and Georgie joined in singing, there the story began!

Q: How did you get interested in music?

Annie Lennox. Oskar loves American guitarists and songwriters including; Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young. This variety of tastes means we can perform music from different genres and decades, our typical set list includes songs from; Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, The Arctic Monkeys and many more.

A

: When Georgie was growing up her mother always used to play music instead of turning on the TV, she was brought up on Fleetwood Mac and Dire Straits! Oskar’s uncle gave him a copy of The Essential Bob Dylan at the age of 14, he loved the music so much that it started him out as a budding guitarist.

Q A

: What have been your musical highlights so far?

: Our first real highlight was performing at The Cherry Tree in Kingston Blount, it was the first time the room feel silent when we started to perform and the reaction was amazing. Other highlights include: Headlining at the ‘Friday At The Fish’ open mic in December, playing The Swan open mic in February, Midsummer Music in Brill and New Years Eve at The Boat in Bledlow Ridge!

Restaurant Review

It was 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon when my colleague Sandra and I walked into Cuxham’s village pub, The Half Moon and were presented with an extensive menu of delicious food options as well as a tempting Specials Board full of yet more tongue tantilising delights.

This is what sets this Pizzeria apart from anywhere else I have been in the local area. Besides being located

in a picturesque setting next to the babbling brook within the pretty little village of Cuxham, it is open 7 days a week, serving food from noon until 10pm, and if you arrive too late to be seated for dinner you can opt for Take Away on any of the items on the menu.

Owned by Lunar Restaurants Ltd, The Half Moon is managed by friends Vaska & Gosia and their family team who welcome you with a warm and friendly reception. You feel as if you are being invited into their home as they show you around the contemporarily decorated establishment, which includes an intimate snug, main bar and comfortable dining area, before being shown to our seat to peruse the wine list and choice of lagers and locally brewed ales (Rebellion and Hooky). With mellow music playing softly over the sound system as you relax in the company of your fellow diners, the ambience is one of informal comfort and although modern in its décor the traditional solid beams and uneven walls remind you that you are still sitting in a cosy 16th century country pub. This is however where the ‘traditional pub’ similarities end, as you won’t get pie and mash here. No, instead you will be treated to a plentiful menu of fine Italian cuisine with a Macedonian twist when it comes to dessert – I consumed the best cake I have ever tasted! Appetisers include classics such as Dough Balls, Antipasti, which is what we opted for, and Brushetta as well as a few dishes I hadn’t heard of before including Fontina and Caseus (Garlic Bread with mozzarella & smoked ham). Moving onto mains and there’s a choice of beautiful presented and tasty salads, pasta dishes and pizzas all of which are handmade on the premises and cooked in a proper pizza oven for that traditional finish. The choices of toppings are unique and a bit different from the norm. The ‘’Salmone’ for example is topped with baby mozarella, smoked salmon and dill whilst the ‘Roma’ features pecan nuts, gorganzola cheese & spinach. I went for a more classic cheese, spinach and caramelised onion known as the ‘Dulcis’ with the addition of parma ham and as a huge pizza fan, I wasn’t disappointed. The base was light with just the right about of crunch to it and the flavours packed a punch. Sandra, being a pasta lover, choose a classic cannelloni which she found to be expertly cooked and portioned to perfection. On to ‘Suavis’ which translates as ‘something sweet’ and we were recommended to sample the Fig Cake served warm with a cup of Earl Grey tea. Wow! Is all I can say! As someone who doesn’t usually eat dessert I would easily go back for seconds or even thirds of this unbelievably delightful homemade cake. The fluffy, moist sponge is spotted with just the right amount of figs to make this cake sweet without being sickly. It really is a triumph. We also tried Figs in syrup with mascarpone cream and ‘Luxuriae’ – homemade biscuit with walnut & cream filling both of which treated our palette to an explosive sweet sensation! It is clear from the quality of the very reasonably priced food that the staff at The Half Moon have a passion for food and a love for proper hospitality as they couldn’t be more accommodating of your needs and requests. Specialist dietary requirements can be catered for and child sized portions, you only need to ask. And on the subject of little people, if you are looking for a birthday treat idea with a difference then why not book a Pizza Party? Your 3-10 year old can invite up to 20 of their friends to get messy with dough and toppings as they create their very own pizzas which will then be cooked up for them in the huge pizza oven ready for them to devour later – what a great birthday party that would be! For more details on the Pizza Parties or to book a table (recommended on a Friday and Saturday) call 01491 612165 – you will not be disappointed, The Half Moon truly is a hidden gem open for business all day, every day – there’s not many villages that can say that of their local pub.

Secure and Protect your Home via your Phone Imagine you were in a car showroom, and you got a call from the place you bought your last car, who told you that you couldn’t buy a new car until you’d owned theirs for the full three years, and no you couldn’t part-exchange it for a different brand.

via a call centre, and you can make an instant and informed decision on what to do next, reducing the risk of false alarms. You can even set or unset your alarm from your phone. Rycote Security have designed a game-changing offer to free you from aggressive lock-ins.

T

hat unlikely scenario is played out constantly for people who find themselves locked into owning home alarms with call centre contracts. What makes it even more unfortunate for them is that the home alarm business has been turned on its head by new products that make the call centre slower, less efficient, and much more expensive than modern rivals. Rycote Security, a local alarm company, is bringing the revolution to Thame. They supply and fit wireless alarms with built-in cameras that send images straight to your own mobile. You can set them to detect intruders, tell you when the kids let themselves in, or you can just check any time what the dog is up to. What’s more when there is a real alert you get the quickest notification – not

* WHATs THE DEAL * When you buy a Rycote alarm they give you a lifetime guarantee that they will buy it back from you for a pre-set fair price without you needing to explain why. That’s on top of their two year guarantee. Even better than that, once it’s paid for, either in one payment or through their flexible credit, then its completely yours with no monthly fees, no final settlement – nothing more to pay for a top-of-the-range modern alarm. No wonder they’re now the fastest growing security provider in Oxfordshire.

• Home Security • Camera Alarms • CCTV • Safes • No Contract, no lock-in and no early-finish charge

• No monthly fees

• 12 months interest-free credit • Free annual service contract

GET THE LOOK 3 key trends for your kitchen By Jade Coulon, Coulon Stone Ltd

Past-modern

You would be forgiven for imagining a messy clash of colours and textiles when reviving historic home trends and pairing them with new, but this fusion of past and present actually creates a warm, elegant look. Layer clean, modern colour palettes, like greys, navys and blushes with rich, romantic textures, like marble, dark woods, mixed metallics and heavy fabrics.

Eco-active

We have become increasingly aware of our environmental responsibility and are beginning to make more eco-conscious choices daily, why not reflect this in the design of our homes? This doesn’t mean filling your kitchen with living walls but being resourceful with your designs; upcycle furniture, use natural materials like clay, wood and stone and lower your carbon footprint by buying locally made products.

SOFT-POP

Great news, pink is no longer restricted to girl’s bedrooms, it’s been rebranded as a genderless colour, this means paired with zesty yellows and retro greens it makes for a fun, warm colour palette. Soft pop is blocks of contrasting colours, mismatched patterns and colourful florals.

Coffee Break

Beast Quest: Arcta the mountain giant – Adam Blake This is a short novel, aimed at readers aged 7 and upwards.

It belongs to the hugely successful ‘Beast Quest’ series. It follows a somewhat formulaic construction but bear with me. In this particular story (the third book in a series which numbers over 100) returns to the mythical kingdom of Avantia where an evil spell has been cast by Malvel the Dark Wizard on six beasts. An ancient prophecy tells of a young boy, an unlikely hero, who will rise up and defeat the beasts, freeing Avantia from the threat it faces.

Has that hero been found? A good wizard Aduro believes so, and he is a boy called Tom. And so Tom is sent out to try to destroy the beasts. We meet him at the start of this book, having already destroyed Ferno the Fire Dragon and Sepron the Sea Serpent, as he continues on his travels with his horse, Storm. He is joined by his best friend Elenna and her wolf, Silver. As the story opens a strange rock avalanche breaks up a convoy of caravans. Tom encounters Jack, a young child out with his father who is a trader and is told that the avalanche was not cause by any natural source, but by a Giant who lives in the mountain. Can Tom and Elenna complete their quest or will Avantia remain doomed and cursed? I recommend this novel as it only 112 pages long, and is perfect for encouraging reluctant readers, (it is aimed particularly at boys) to read. The setting is typical of older boys’ books, with set pieces which will be familiar to readers of Tolkien and other fantasy adventure stories. Short chapters and a certain poetic style of language make this an easy read for young children. It’s a great introduction to this extensive genre of novels. So if you have a boy who could be described as a ‘reluctant reader’ then this could be the perfect book series for him. Review written by: Willow Coby

Business Matters

It’s lonely at the top! How Can A Business Mentor Help You And Your Business?

Business Mentors are experienced business people who want to pass on their hard won knowledge and experience. If you are wondering how a business mentor could help you or if business mentoring has been recommended to you but you are not By Mark Tubb. sure if it is for you, read on.

Business Mentor and Co-Director at Princes Risborough Golf Club. For information about meeting facilities call 01844 346989 or visit www.bucksconferences.com

Business mentors work with you in a totally supportive way. •

They focus on you and your agenda

Help you to cover the many and complex issues in your particular business and solve problems that you may or may not know about already

Help you understand your business from a different perspective

Share their knowledge and experience with you

Motivate, support and inspire you

Everyone gets something different from having a business mentor, I have summarised a few of many benefits so that you can see the ones that may be relevant to you:

A CONFIDENTIAL SOUNDING BOARD

It is lonely at the top with little confidential general business and personal support available. Your mentor will be your confidential sounding board, focusing on you, helping analyse your business, advising and supporting you in achieving what you want to achieve.

FULLY UNDERSTAND YOUR BUSINESS

Your mentor will help you to step back from simply running your business enabling you to look at your business from a wider and different perspective.

BUSINESS STRATEGY

How do you want to move your business forward is a key focus.

MAXIMISE BUSINESS AND PERSONAL PERFORMANCE

Your mentor will help you to maximise the performance of your business and your own personal performance in the business. They improve your efficiency and maximise your potential as well as look at different options and ideas, share their own ideas and help you make decisions. I hope this brief article has given you a taste for the potential benefits of mentoring. As a business mentor myself I am obviously biased, but give it some thought. It may be the best way forward for you. It doesn’t have to cost the earth and should actually increase the fun and profits within your business and personal life. If you feel you could benefit, call me on 07767 770364 to introduce yourself and have a brief discussion. That will cost you just the time you take to make the call.
