SHOW HOME AT HIGH GREEN DEVELOPMENT SET TO OPEN ITS DOORS

The show home at an exciting new residential development in High Green is opening its doors for the first time on Saturday 4th May.

Eggcellent Easter The children at Royd Nursery Infant School and Deepcar St John’s Junior School had an “eggciting” day taking part in a range of Easter activities.

Orchard Croft is located off Wortley Road and comprises of fourteen contemporary detached and semi-detached family homes, proudly presented by Yorkshirebased developer Erris Homes.

Traditionally at Royd the children have participated in the ‘Best Decorated Egg’ and and ‘Easter Bonnet/Hat parade’ whilst at Deepcar the children have participated in an ‘Egg Rolling’ competition.

The spacious four bedroom semi-detached show home is arranged over three floors and comes complete with two family bathrooms and a fully-fitted designer kitchen. It has been expertly dressed throughout by well-known interior designer, Jeanette Holmes. Jeanette said: “Our objective whenever we go into a newly built property is to create a lifestyle and not simply a show home. At Orchard Croft we have adopted a very ‘on-trend’ industrial urban loft style feel with a striking colour palette of orange, grey, steel and black. “It will appeal to all age groups and the stylish and contemporary feel makes good use of the abundant space available. From the minute people walk through the door we want them to envisage their individual lifestyles and allow their creativity and imagination to style their own dream home.” Meanwhile, Jeanette will be on hand throughout the launch weekend to provide free interior design consultations to anyone who is in need of a little inspiration.

Miss Jones, Executive Headteacher of the Royd and Deepcar commented “This year we have decided to merge the schools traditions together so that all children from both schools got to decorate an egg, roll an egg and wear an “The show home also provides potential buyers Easter bonnet/hat”. Sandra Spooner, Sales Manager at Erris Homes, added: “We cannot wait to welcome people to the stunning show home.
