ON DECEMBER 14, Barnsley West NHP ran Penistone Operation Voyager. Operation Voyager saw officers and partner agencies come together in a day of enforcement and public engagement. On the A629 in Thurgoland, seven vehicles were recorded at between 30 and 35 mph and 15 at between 35 and 40 mph. All of the drivers were advised.

Nine were breathalysed under the Christmas Drink Drive Campaign – all came back with negative results. Advice regarding vehicle maintenance and adequate preparation within vehicle for delays and safety equip-
