ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT to the Management Team Following internal promotions we are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our current team. 25 – 37.5 hours per week. Salary starting from £17,787 pro rata (depending on experience). Job Purpose – the post holder is responsible to the Managers, assisting in the continuity of service provision by coordinating rotas for the Clinical staff and supporting the management team. Main Duties Responsibilities – Responsible for coordinating and organising the Training posts, Nurse and GP clinical rotas and associated leave requirements. Arranging cover and rescheduling as needed and highlighting shortfalls in service provision to maintain patient access levels. Management Support – Aiding the management team in some of their areas of work to help provide administration support, for example arranging meetings, taking meeting notes, etc. Personnel Management – Collating personnel information of new locums, trainee students and maintain up to date accurate and comprehensive contact lists. Personal Attributes – Have an ability to work efficiently, effectively and professionally in a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrate that you will be open to improving everything that you do. Have an ability to consider and implement new solutions. Be accountable for your own actions. Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of quality of care. Experience with the Systmone clinical software, and Excel spreadsheets is desirable but not essential. The post includes membership of the NHS pension scheme. Previous Applicants Need Not Re-apply

Gareth Cooke was first back for the club in 16th place and captured the club record for the distance in a super quick time of 70-24.
First back for the club was Phil Montgomery who finished in 14th place overall in a time of 4-29-42.
Andrew Pearson was next back in 80-11 which was also a club record for the over-55 man category.
Next in was over-40 veteran Damian Kilpin in 27th place in a time of 4-45-52. First lady back for Penistone was Sarah Walch who completed the race for the first time in 6-3400.
Some hardy Penistone runners opted to take on the very challenging Trigger Fell Race in very wet and muddy conditions and poor visibility on higher ground.
Following internal promotions we are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our current team.
Preferably the successful candidate will have skills in the following area: Reception Front Desk Call Handling/Contact Centre Prescription Processing Previous experience in NHS / medical reception role is desirable but not essential.
The route takes in Black Hill, Crowden, Torside, Higher Shelf, Snake Pass and Kinder before dropping down to Edale.
Andrew also captured first prize in his age category at the race. Bryan Harrod was next back achieving a personal best time and also breaking the 90-minute barrier for the first time in a time of 88-11.
20 - 25 hours per week (Mon – Fri). Salary £8.21per hour (dependent on relevant experience)
The post consists of shift work – Alternate mornings (Approx. 8am – 1pm) and afternoons (Approx. 1.30pm – 6.30pm) – across both sites therefore flexibility is essential.
A NUMBER of Penistone Footpath Runners took on the flat and fast Brass Monkey Half Marathon in York.

The route starts in Marsden and finishes in Edale and is about 25 miles in distance with over 4,000 feet of climbing.
Julie Darigala travelled to the Lake District to compete in the Clough Head fell race which was held under atrocious weather conditions. The route itself had to be shortened due to strong winds and heavy rain. Julie was rewarded for her efforts by claiming first place in the ladies over50 category in a time of 3757. Rhianna Louise took on the five-mile Langsett loop trail race and had a great run to finish fourth lady.
Church announce signing of Stewart LAST Monday, Penistone Church were pleased to announce the arrival of striker Luke Stewart, signed from Knaresborough Town. Luke is 24, quick, direct, attacking and has good quality with the ball. He has an excellent attitude, wants to progress as a player and sees his move to Penistone Church as a step forward. He will provide a different dimension to Church’s attacking play either from the staring 11 or from the bench.
TIGERS FAVOURITE PASSES AWAY SHEFFIELD Tigers are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former club favourite Roman Matousek at the age of 55.
Roman, from the Czech Republic, was a real showman who thrilled the Owlerton fans over a four year spell in our colours.
He made well over 100 appearances for the club and scored over 1,000 points. Sheffield Speedway would like to offer our sincere condolences to Roman’s family at this very sad time.
