Tin soldiers Tin Soldiers take aim at Trippets for the Tramlines Fringe this weekend The popular Sheffield 15-piece party band, regular headliners on the festival circuit, head up music celebrations at the region’s only dedicated live jazz venue this weekend. The Tin Soldiers recently performed at Wentworth and headlined at YNot Festival. They will perform at Trippets on Sheffield’s Trippet Lane as part of the Tramlines Fringe events around the city. The popular brass party band make up a full weekend of live music at the venue this weekend.

Penistone wildlife group calls for action over reservoir duckling deaths Wildlife lovers are calling for action to prevent ducklings getting trapped in a reservoir spillway and dying, writes BBC Yorkshire.
