El mediterráneo mexicano Vinos de excelencia

La Ruta del Vino de Baja California es un corredor turístico con restaurantes, boutiques de vino, museos y hospedaje estilo bed & breakfast; es un sitio especial porque crecen uvas dignas de convertirse en una buena cosecha, además que la temperatura, altitud y minerales de la tierra permiten cultivar las variedades Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Syrah y Barberá.

El punto de partida es Tijuana, ciudad a donde llegas en avión y de ahí, lo recomendación es manejar por la carretera federal Tecate-Ensenada para disfrutar sin prisa los paisajes, restaurantes y bodegas vinícolas.

Mi negocio tiene 65 años, soy el distribuidor de vinos con más tiempo en México y si de trabajar se trata, aquí estoy; si de divertirme se trata, aún me divierto. Tenemos proyectos para crecer porque la familia va aumentando.

Somos muy correctos en nuestros pagos y hacemos sentir estimados a nuestros 300 colaboradores”, platica con alegría Don José González, fundador de Vinos América, quien acaba de cumplir 90 años y tiene íntegras todas sus capacidades.

“Aunque nací en Izúcar de Matamoros, Puebla, mi vida ha transcurrido en Guadalajara. Empecé en 1950 con una tienda de abarrotes de la mano de mi esposa Brígida; luego saqué el permiso de vinos, nos desarrollamos y hoy somos un negocio a nivel nacional”, comparte el empresario.

Entre sus metas cumplidas, Don José le dio a sus hijos “una buena formación, carrera universitaria y enseñarles a manejar todo con alta moral, porque mi padre fue inspector de escuelas y me puso esta dedicatoria en un libro: ‘Si quieres tener éxito en la vida, imponte severas disciplinas y moralidad’. Esto implicó cuidar la economía y seguir principios de vida; por eso, sólo compramos a proveedores autorizados para ofrecer productos auténticos y de calidad. ¡Lograr esto es muy satisfactorio!”, concluye.

My business is 65 years old, I am the wine and spirits distributor with more time on the market in Mexico, and if it comes to work, here I am; if it comes to have fun, I still have fun. We have projects to expand, because the family is growing.

We are very precise in our payments and we make our 300 collaborators feel appreciated”, joyfully chats Don José González, the founder of Vinos América, who just turned 90 years old and has all his abilities intact.

Although I was born in Izúcar de Matamoros, Puebla, my life has gone by in Guadalajara. I started in 1950 with a convenience store run by my wife Brígida; then, I obtained the wine and spirits license, we developed, and we are now a nationwide business”, shares the entrepreneur.

This way, the expansion of Vinos América involved hard work, good relationships, and above all, family union. “My wife always supports me and I am lucky to have children and grandchildren who like to work, who care about the business and who are willing to help. In order to grow, I have delegated duties, thinking of the family’s good: I gave the management to one of my sons, and there is no envy, because the idea is that all can benefit and that we can have a good relationship”, expresses Don José.

Among his achieved goals, Don José gave his children “a good education, a university degree and teaching them how to handle everything with high morals, because my father was a school inspector and he left me this dedication in a book: “if you wish to be successful in life, impose severe discipline and morality on yourself ”.

Un ejemplo es el golf. Si le encanta, invítalo a pasar un día en un campo de golf nuevo para él o ir a uno en otra ciudad. Las posibilidades son infinitas, sólo piensa en él, qué lo hace feliz y dale una sorpresa agradable que sea mucho más memorable que un objeto material.

Descansa entre cada ejercicio 30 segundos, repite el circuito de 3 a 5 veces y ¡a tonificar ese cuerpo!
