MCP MESSAGE
Dear applicant, AIESEC Ecuador is full of great leaders: Young guys who are inspired by the change they can bring to their realities and the development the can get for themselves, young guys who believe peace and development of the humankind’s potential is possible, and young guys who wants to create a better future for them and their society. AIESECers in Ecuador have the potential and they are looking forward to delivering everything they have, but they need a guide: Someone strong enough to lead the entity against the issues and troubles but patient enough to help them to break through the journey. I am very honest when I say being MCP is hard, but worthy! All the people I have the chance to meet, all the challenges I face every day and everything I learn in my daily journey make the experience a life-time achievement. JOB DESCRIPTION
Planning Organize the process of planning. Build and implement tracking systems and decision making process. Track, review and coach MCVPs on the strategic plan. Support on budgeting and financial decision making. Team Management Build and implement management tools and principles. Organize and run MC Team Days. Align and coordinate MCVPs during conferences and events. Run MC weekly meetings. Ensure all MCVPs have a correct plan and job description. Run HR processes in the MC. Governance Manage Supervisory Group Chair, send reports and implement outputs from SG meetings. Make Compendium be followed accordingly. Facilitate and participate on BoP meetings. Deliver all requirements for Country Membership Criteria. Ensure financial transparency to the network.
Organizational Development Support Build relationship and negotiate with other MCPs about country partnerships. Track organizational goals and indicators. Ensure conferences are being used strategically. Ensure alignment of BoP on the strategy for LC development. Ensure alignment of MCVPs on the strategy for LC development and support. Support the development of strategies for positioning to stakeholders. External Relations Represent AIESEC in Ecuador as an entity on events and meetings. Track MC main accounts. Go on sales and manage some of the accounts. Support on product development and on the strategy for external relations. Ensure AIESEC’s legality within the Ecuadorian law. Track the SRI relation. Role Duration: From July 1st 2016 to June 30th 2017.
LIFE & CONDITIONS
MC Term The MC term officially start on 1st of July of 2016 and finish on 31th of June of 2017. Elected MCP must be in Quito before last week of May to start physical transition. Salary To stablish according financial situation. Usually it is up to 200 USD monthly. MCP is a full time position. Accommodation & Food MC flat is located in Quito, the capital of the country and the second largest city of Ecuador, equipped with all necessary for the MC members during the term: internet, electricity, water, laundry, etc. and everything related is covered by the MC budget. Food is 100% covered by the MC during the term. Benefits Fee for National conferences Fee for IC & IPM (depending of the budget and the planning) Possibility to attend all regional conferences. 1 MC GIP form at the end of the term (just for people who finish the term). Fee for Regional conferences (depending of the MC budget and the conference focus). MC Office The office is located in the Amazonas Avenue which is one of the principals and is near to banks and companies of the city, is also equipped with everything necessary for working in: desks, internet and telephone and meetings space. The working schedule is from 9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. Working on weekends eventually during national conferences, planning process and LC visits.
