A series of rooms focuses on the importance of the project of void in contemporary urban renewal. The research is based in Antwerp’s district of Linkeroever, characterized by a strong persistence of voids at any scale, from landscape to urban. The aim of the thesis is to develop in Linkereover a counter-discourse on the urban development of the area, not based on the built, but on the unexpressed possibilities and potentials of the void.
