Los Angeles - The Rams (4-7) are set to play their final AFC East opponent in the New England Patriots (9-2) in the team’s final crosscountry trip of the season. In his second game as a professional, QB Jared Goff completed 20-of-32 passing attempts for 214 yards. Goff threw three touchdowns in the first half, marking the first time a Rams QB has thrown three first half touchdown strikes since 2010. The rookie passer finished with a 100.3 QB rating in his first-career road start.
WRs Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt celebrating a touchdown.
WR Kenny Britt finished the contest with 52 yards receiving on five receptions - establishing a single-season best 788 receiving yards. Britt now has single-season career-bests in receptions (54) in addition to receiving yards.
Britt, WR Tavon Austin, and TE Lance Kendricks were all on the receiving of Goff touchdown throws. Kendricks now has 17 career receiving touchdowns, one score short of matching the franchise record for touchdowns by a tight end. RB/KR Benny Cunningham returned five kickoffs for 163 yards (32.6 yards/ return) including a 61-yarder, his longest return of the season, and ranks third in the NFL with a 28.2 yard average through 11 games. The Patriots enter the contest on a two-game winning streak, and have won six of their last seven games.
