Transportation Summit Draws Crowd of 400; Offers Information and Discussion Regarding Northern Colorado Infrastructure WELD COUNTY, CO – Approximately 400 people, including 40 elected officials from the local, state and Federal level, joined together Monday at the Transportation Summit to discuss transportation and infrastructure issues facing Northern Colorado. “Participation in this event was great,” said Commissioner Sean Conway. “It illustrated the importance of transportation in Northern Colorado. People know we need strong infrastructure and solid funding opportunities from a variety of levels to ensure the future success of our region. This summit provided an educational forum for attendees to receive important information regarding transportation issues in our region.” Senator Cory Gardner was first to address the crowd as he spoke about growth in Northern Colorado and the re-authorization of MAP 21. “…one of the most exciting things we all talk about is the fact that people indeed are looking at Colorado as a place that they too want to go to raise their families and start their business and to lead their lives,” said Gardner. “So I made it very clear when I was first elected to Congress in 2010 that as the House of Representatives we were making North I-25 our priority in how we can expand it to handle the explosion of growth in Northern Colorado over the past several decades. And now, as a member of the United States Senate, that priority has not changed – what we need to do to expand North I-25 and make sure this project goes from concept to reality.” Other speakers included Steve Gordon from Total Spectrum, State Representative Brian

Anadarko Petroleum Holds Community Forum at Fort Lupton Recreation Center
This past Wednesday night Anadarko Petroleum held the first in series of Community Forums at the Fort Lupton Recreation Center. 25 Anadarko employees were on hand to discuss all aspects of Anadarko’s operation. A big hit was the new well development plan for the Fort Lupton area in the area of County Road 16 & 18 for the balance of 2015. A detailed site map was shown. In addition an average timeline of the phases during oil and natural gas operations development on a well were presented. There were 11 stations at which citizens could visit and speak with an Anadarko employee in detail on the applicable subject matter. Appetizers and beverages were provide and made for a very comfortable setting. A good effort to communicate with the public, giving them a chance to speak, one on one, with an Anadarko employee who could answer their specific questions. For more information about oil & gas development visit: www.cred.org or www.oilandnaturalgasincolorado.com. You can watch the life cycle of a well at: hhtp://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=59-Err9Bs_w
