Caitlin Greenberg

Caitlin Greenberg completed her baccalaureus technologiae degree in 2009 at Tshwane University of Technology. She specialised in glass blowing and glass sculpture. She graduated with a cum laude master’s degree in 2018. The body of work she produced for her master’s degree included an installation conceptualised around the psychoanalytical and contemporary manifestations of the shadow experienced through glass objects.

Greenberg has participated in several group exhibitions and some of the highlights are:

• 2022 Nirox Sculpture Park – ‘Good Neighbours’ winter sculpture exhibition • Exploring Visual Cultures – ‘Collective Memory 2021’ international online exhibition • Pretoria Art Museum – ‘Blow Your Sculpture’ exhibitions in 2021 and 2019 • Pretoria Art Association – ‘Back to the Future’ group glass exhibition 2018 • Cool Capital – ‘Light your Fire’ group exhibition 2016.

Competition highlights: Thami Mnyele Art Awards Johannesburg final selection 2018 and 2007, Sasol New Signatures at the Pretoria Art Museum final selection 2014, and PPC Competition at the Pretoria Art Association final selection 2007.
