Brief : We, as architects often get the chance to build dreams of a common man. This time we get an opportunity to make this very common man understand and know about our country’s armed forces through the exploration we are going to attempt. The project will be honouring them and also make the visitors to this facility realise the work done by our armed forces. It will be a platform to make the viewers understand the forces through means such as photo galleries displaying uniforms, weapons, medals, scale models, audio-visual facilities, outdoor and displays of equipment, technology and weaponry, spaces to celebrate and commemorate important days and events memorials.
Description : ‘Ayudhjivi’ in hindi means a warrior which suits best for the museum which is especially dedicated to our army soldiers. Be it on field ,mind or any other place they are always a warrior. The museum showcases all the weapons, medals, uniforms and various other things honors them and depicts all the sacrifices they have made for us and celebrate them. The museum being a campus planning, in it different buildings have different function and meaning. The museum is designed in a way which is easily accessible by the people and considering the flow of people the circulation is kept simple. Places like drivers resting and interaction space is also designed seperately. The spaces are arranged according to the users and with respect to their ease. Through careful planning and attention to detail, the museum is designed that not only showcases the proud history and achievements of our armed forces, but also provides visitors with an immersive and engaging experience that is both educational and inspiring. Whether visitors are veterans, history enthusiasts, or simply curious members of the public, everbody will find the museum to be a fitting tribute to the men and women who have served our country with honor and distinction.
