To deliver an unique derby style street food and shopping culture so as to explore and promote energetic city to visitors.

Using the concept of imageability, placing different fooring along the street to guide the route to the Derby River Garden. The special pattern can become the characteristic of Derby culture. Along the route, more plantations such as trees and shrubs are proposed to add in as to function as a boundary between the sidewalk and the road, which can also provide a shading area along the route. As the destination of the journey is the Derby River Garden, the most special thing about this park is the water fow. So along the street, art sculpture in curve shape represents the wind and wave etc nature elements. These nature elements shaped art sculpture linked with the fooring pattern to create an imageability for the route. Having design for the ideal street based on the human sense and the plinth concept, creating more social space for the passerby to chat and taking a rest. Which also help to enhance the relationship of the local community.
