PRINT ISN’T DEAD : THE LORAX by Dr. Seuss

Brief A editorial design that explore the potential for print design and experiment with how it can be used effectively to push the boundaries of the medium. Immerse the user in the format of the book and make it more engaging, going beyond the obvious interpretations and discover how printed techniques can add something new to the experience of reading.

About This project is an early stage of experimenting typography and editorial design, the aim of the project is to break the boundaries of print design. The original copy of The Lorax by Dr. Seuss contains beautifully illustrated and coloured visuals, and it has a strong message about environmentalism and anti-consumerism, which inspired me to recreate this book with just plain types, two shades and printed on recycled paper. The storybook is finished with a twist of style, instead of colourful and illustrative, it is minimal typographic book.
