The program applies design education to a neighborhood context, providing access to museum and community resources including subjectmatter experts and content knowledge.

The course focuses on helping teachers to clarify educational goals, link student work to experience, design active learning instructional units, develop effective assessment practices, and reflect on their own teaching practice.

2010 A train-the-trainers workshop held at Temple University on August 19, 2010, 29 educators from the Delaware Valley and across the United States gathered to better understand copyright and fair use as it applies to media literacy and digital learning.

Project Foundry Unconference Minneapolis, MN

2011 In preparation to pilot the Project Foundry Learning Management Platform in my school, I attended this gathering of innovative educators who were using this tool to help them relinquish responsibility for learning to their students. These education professionals embody the notion that a teacher’s role is to create learning experiences that provoke reflection. The Project Foundry Management tool facilitates this process.
