As part of my study I did my internship in the Netherlands, curious to learn about another way of thinking and composing landscape while sharing the French vision and sensitivity. Recompose the river banks, central place between pilgrim center, old city and where the elements meet the city. Prevent from the flooding risk and make it a place where pilgrim, inhabitant and visitors can meet and appropriate themself the city. Create an open place in the center of the city where the elements like the water and the rocks have enough space in order to offer peacfulness and spirituality.

Laurierkwartier is the keystone of Hoge Weide: an eye-catching urban block with high ambitions on design, sustainability and circularity. With Laurierkwartier a green oasis is added to the urban fabric of Hoge Weide. The plan is characterized by eye-catching urban architecture with in the heart a high-quality collective courtyard with space for all residents to play, meet, relax, play sports and work in the garden. The courtyard consists of two levels, which are designed as one coherent garden. The heart of the garden is formed by the strip: a longstretched plaza that offers space for a wide range of functions. The strip connects the upper and lower world via an inviting stairway that, with the addition of a slide, forms a central play element and meeting place in the garden. In addition to playing, the strip offers space for gardening in the vegetable garden, to play sports and to meet the neighbors at the long picnic benches.

Hard protections : Diking that permit the insularisation of the built zones in case of flood. Double use of the dike that permits while protecting the lands to create on it a slow circulation network.
Soft protections : Construction of breakwater Partial flood of planned zones. Submersion of salt pan.
Soft vegetal protections : disposition of vegetation bags in the foreshore to limitate the erosion and the impact of the waves on the coast.

PLACE : SEUR, FRANCE DATE : 2015 CONTRACTING AUTHORITY : SEUR, LOIR-ETCHER DESCRIPTION : REFLEXION ABOUT THE AMENAGEMENT OF 10 SOCIAL HOUSES IN A FIVE-HUNDRED-INHABITANTS TOWN Seur is a little town in the french departement of the loir-et-cher. Almost 500 inhabitants live in the village and the municipality wants to build 10 houses for social housing. The land they have for the construction is the village square, a big meadow close to the town hall and the church, used a lot by the inhabitants when they go for a walk. The main idea of the project here was to keep the spirit of the meadow and play with the height of the weeds to create cones of view. A few fruit trees are scatted behind the gardens to provied from the founterpart.

PLACE : CHAUMONT-SUR-LOIRE, FRANCE DATE : 2015 CONTRACTING AUTHORITY : DOMAINE DE CHAUMONT-SUR-LOIRE, FRANCE DESCRIPTION : GROUP PROJECT FOR THE ‘CONTRAST OF COLLECTION’ THEME OF THE INTERNATIONAL GARDEN FESTIVAL. Chaumont international festival garden happens every year and begins in april until October. Every year, a theme is given and 25 gardens are selected and realized. In this Garden of contrast two collections are blossoming : The first one, an overabundance of huge glossy leaves where each plant you discover is bigger than the last one. The other one is more discreet, less exuberant but each plant carefully chosen is rare on her way because those vegetal had to fight each other with ingenuity to survive. From the Rubus and his white thorns to the Bupleurum which hibernate during the drought. Each collection reveals the other one thanks to a contrast of color and texture. The visitor feels attracted by the freshness offered by the tropical collection, opposed to the arid one.
