Final Project . ADAPTATIVE REUSE Year : 2012 - 2013 Place: Valencia Academic work
The idea is created around the objetive of: recycling an 80’s building, which contains a Pot Factory in its ground floor and in the other floors there were the houses of the workers. The aim is re-use this building to adapt it to the current necesities and propose a new way of living to give an opportunity for these forgotten structures that live in our cities nowadays. The area is a key place of Valencia in the communication level, that’s why it is next to the Metro station, near the Port and connected with some important cultural places, so the location is an opportunity to reactivate the city. Therefore, the project is based on the following three levels of intervention: [1] [2] [3]
Urban Intervention REstoration REactivation
(connections) (material transformation) (program propose)
Three strategies that should be interconnected and coordinate to get the goal sucessfully.

NATURAL MUSEUM Year: 2911 Place: Baquedano, Spain. Academic work
The idea of the project is to make a reflexion about the landscape and the different options that we can response to define the emplacement of our constructios. With that, it takes place a reflexion about the importance of the natural environment that in most of the situations should be the principal element which defines the project. This project is located in Baquedano, a small town between the Mountains of Urbasa and Andia, a prodigious settlement because of the beauty of changing landscape through the year and its geology, whose topography is configured by karstic peculiar forms from where arises the generatic idea of the project. The main idea is based on buring the Natural Museum while the roof is perceptible to the eye like concrete slabs which reminds the typical rocks of the region. At the same time, these pieces are used to let in the light and vegetation inside. Finally, the structure is evaporated, leaving and giving away for the natural element like object and user of this space.

CULTURAL MARKET Year: 2011 Place: Valencia Academic work
The project takes place in a neigbourhood of Valencia. The location is a new growth area with bigs urban voids, which indicates the shortage of identity. Like a singular element by its dimensions and typology appear the gasometer. It is the last signal of the previous industrial activity, and it will be included in the project like a composition element. The idea incorporates the analysis of the relationships which happened inside the market and how to define the limits between public and private. Therefore, there is a park projected in the ground floor that connects both parts of the plot and a ramp system lett ing a part of the program buried. Finally appear two kind of walls: ethereal walls and inhabit walls to connect and direct the people inside the market.
RESTORATION Year: 2010 Place: Benicasim, Spain Academic work
In this project has been putted into practice all learned about the architectural restoration techniques. We started with the historical analysis from the construction and then we made a precise material analysis of it. With it, we discovered its structural morphology and the materiality that has been composing the architectonical element over the time, internally and externally. It was made the element metric survey and we pointed out all notable pathologies that we had to resolve in the intervention (fissure, dampness, danger of structural stability, etc). Finally, it is been proposed an intervention which is suitable to respect the identity of the element and whose aims are to improve the stability and durability to adapt it for the most appropiate use, in that case, to continue being a chapel.
CAMP FOR ARCHAELOGISTS Year: 2011 Place: Selinunte, Italy Academic work
The idea of the project a lot of times turns around the form and we sometimes forget important aspects like: the materials, the users, the pass of time, the weather,... things that determine the form more than simple aesthetic aspects. That camp for archaelogists is located in Selinunte (Sicilia), a place with a great historical value where nothing should compete with the historic archaeological remais. Therefore, the idea is to use the own material that Etna Volcano provides to us (volcano rocks) to create a wall whose form will be determinated by the use of every room, it will be completed with a light cover made of wood. It is located next to the pond, that will be a starting and meeting point. Once completed the work, the archaeologists will leave the place and the nature will cover it like another remain.
A PLACE TO THINK Year: 2009 Place: Everywhere Academic work
This place has the form of a flowerpot and it’s made of clay and it consists in two parts: [ 1 ] The roof is covered with sand where is planted the parsley, so this space will be the green area. At the same time is perforated to filter the water to the second part. [ 2 ] The space which collect and store water that go down from the up floor. Here appears a resting place. The access is located in the bottom and the same clay bars that compose the pot are the stairs to go up. An essential element is needed, the potion to be shorten, that will be the own persley. ¿Why a flowerpot? Because from there is possible to see the world with other point of view and it is possible to bring it with you everywhere you have to live. It can be always in the windowsill, inside or outside, alone or wih other plants. A place to think..
Year 2012 - 2013
We are a collective formed by a group of architecture students and junior architects born in the University of Valencia in 2005. We aim to move and affect by acting from a conscious, consistent and committed point of view. We work with public organizacions, associations and other collectives. ASM includes themes like: environmental sustainability, recycling, reuse, the importance of the citizen participation, among others. We are always keep on learning, exchanging knowledge and reflection while moving.
Housing restoration This house is a old housing located in Sant Pere Street, in the middle of the affected area by the extension of Blasco Ibañez Boulebard, which pretends to divide the historical neighbourhood of “Cabanyal” in Valencia. This project started with the assignment that the owners gave to our collective with the aim of restore a house with historic features. They offered us to make the restoration in exchange of using the space during some years.
Reactivate spaces The construction of this geodesic dome of wood takes part of the first stage of the project called: “Dómada”. It is a scale model of 1:3 from other which pretends to be built in a plot of Patraix neighbourhood of Valencia. In order to activate this plot, currently abandonated and unused. This process involves three stages: 1. Model construction. 2. Promote the project in the neighbourhood. 3. Build the dome to scale 1:1 on the plot. The firs two stages have been carried out and nowadays continue with the diffusion, because should be the same citizens who demand the project together with the association that got in tuch with us.
