DMI is MassArt's exciting, future-forward MFA Design program. The Dynamic Media Institute explores the role and possibilities for dynamic media in communication design. Each student's unique vision and passion for design develops into an original body of ideas, critical research and fresh practice. Students come to DMI from diverse educational backgrounds, geographic locations and disciplines: architects, industrial designers, programmers, engineers, filmmakers, musicians, anthropologists, photographers, fine artists, and graphic designers. The student body reflects the program's vibrant cross-cultural and interdisciplinary approach to dynamic media design as a means to inspire and empower a new generation of innovation, theory and personality in design to meet the needs of our ever-changing world challenges.
