Cambridge BID AGM 2021 • Annual Accounts approved at our Board meeting on July 22nd • Annual Accounts now filed at Companies house • Annual Accounts sent to members of the company on Sept 17th • Annual Report delivered to businesses during Sept • 2 Directors stood down during the year • 2 New directors appointed in the past 18 months

320 bids in the UK supported by all political parties £130m raised annually in business levies Seen as the delivery method for inward investment in City Centres Business are keen to move to a BID area since they realise it will be well managed and economically more vibrant Supports vibrant places for people to enjoy events, leisure and this fosters ideas in the knowledge economy.

During 1st Lockdown Switched to largely a business support function Supporting reopening of the city Tupe’d Ambassador team from Visit Cambridge to BID Bought the Assets of Visit Cambridge with City Council, Kings College, and Fitzwilliam Museum Enterprises 5. Worked with Cambridge City Council to secure £710k Visitor Welcome grant 6. Relaunched Visitor website and social channels 7. Delivered full Xmas lights programme 8. Delivered online switch on event 9. Sold £77,000 of gift cards up 49% on 2019 10. Collected 95% of our levy to support the City
