Pickleball Expo

Come join the Loveland Parks & Recreation Department and the Loveland Pickleball Club for an introduction to pickleball, the fastest growing sport in America! It's a FUN game that can be played by any age group. Try your hand against other players and learn the basics of the game in these short one-hour clinics. Clinics are FREE, but you must pre-register. All equipment is provided! You'll have an opportunity to register for our Pickleball Beginning Skills classes, as well.

We’ll also have open play from 8:00–2:00P on courts not being used for intro classes. No need to register for open play, just show up and have FUN! Want to sign up for our summer pickleball leagues which begin on May 6? You can do that, too!

Pickleball: Beginning Skills Min/Max: 8/10

Curious about pickleball? Learn this FUN sport that's similar to tennis, badminton and ping pong! Develop your skills and knowledge of the game through our beginner lessons. All equipment provided. Instructors: Bob Monroe (M/W in June), Pam McGee (Tues), George Richards (W in July/Aug)

Pickleball: Level 2 Mentored Play

Min/Max: 8/10

Prerequisite: Completion of the Beginning Skills course within the past 6 months. These classes will move players from beginners to confidently playing within the larger Loveland pickleball community. Each week, learn fundamental skills and specific pickleball techniques. Instructor: George Richards

Age: 18+ Fee: $50

Pickleball: Technical Fundamentals

Prerequisite: Completion of the Beginning Skills course within the past 6 months. These classes will move players from beginners to confidently playing within the larger Loveland pickleball community. Learn drills to work on improving the skills learned in the Beginning Skills course and begin to add basic pickleball strategy and court positioning. Min/Max: 8/10 Instructor: Bob Monroe

Pickleball: First Four Shots Min/Max: 8/10

Prerequisite: Completion of the Technical Fundamentals course within the past 6 months. These classes focus on developing the skills needed to play the game successfully. Work on serves, returns, third shots and dinks.

Pickleball Leagues Min/Max: 8/24

Back again this summer! Come join in on fun-filled Saturday morning pickleball leagues. League format varies for each of the three unique 5-week sessions: Mixed Pairs (5/6–6/17) – register as an individual, partners will be assigned weekly. Team Ladder (7/8–8/5) & Team Doubles (8/19–9/30) – pick your own partner and register as a team. Awards will be presented at the end of each session. All skill levels are welcome!
