A comprehensive skills-based class with topics covering business & leadership principles, discipline, communication, safe play, basic care for infants and children, disaster preparedness, preventing accidents, recognizing and responding to emergencies, infant and child CPR, choking and basic first aid. Hunter Education Conclusion Course

Hunter Safety Certification is required to obtain a Colorado Hunting License if you were born after 1/1/1949. This is an in-person conclusion class only. Students must complete the main, online course at their convenience prior to attending the conclusion course.

Registration Steps:

1. Visit hunter-ed.com/colorado 2. Pre-register for the conclusion course of your choice (held at the Chilson Center; dates and times listed below) 3. Study and pass the $24.50 online course 4. Bring your certificate to the in-person conclusion course at Chilson with $10 cash Students must show the certificate of completion for the online course to attend the in-person conclusion session. All students 17 years old and younger MUST BE accompanied by an adult mentor (mentor not required to enroll, but must attend all sessions). Conclusion course meets 10A-2P at the Chilson Center followed by a required part 2 session from 3-5P at Front Range Gun Club. Location: Maple/Spruce Instructor: James T. Merriott

ABDC School Days Out

Children spend school days out at the Chilson Center in our full-day licensed child care programs. Crafts, games, enrichment activities and off-site field trips keep brains and bodies actively engaged in a healthy dose of FUN! A $35 annual non-refundable registration fee is required to register in School Days Out & Spring Break Camp and is good for all ABDC programs in 2022. ABDC Summer 2022

A state-licensed, childcare/camp program for children entering grades K-9. Awesome weekly field trips are included in camp fees. Location: Chilson Recreation Center • Registration Forms can be picked up at the Chilson Center front desk or downloaded at lovgov.org/abdc. Completed forms are accepted in person ONLY (see registration dates below). • Registration Fee & Weekly Deposit: An annual, non-refundable $35 registration fee is due at the time of enrollment for each enrolled child if not previously paid (annual fee covers all school days out, spring break, winter break and summer camp programs). A $25/week deposit per child is also due at the time of registration. • Priority Summer Camp Registration for Returning 2021 Adventure Bound Families: Feb 7–10 Drop off completed forms with registration fee and $25/week deposit during Chilson hours (M-Th, 5:30A–9:30P) beginning Mon, 2/7. Priority registration ends Thurs, 2/10. Forms are processed in the order they are received. • Public Summer Camp Registration begins Tues, Feb 15 at 7:30A Registration is not available online. New campers and returning families who missed priority registration can drop off completed forms with registration fee and $25/week deposit in-person at the Chilson front desk on Tues, 2/15. Families will receive a number upon arrival. Numbers will begin to be handed out at 7:00A and registration begins promptly at 7:30A. Registration forms are processed at the time of drop-off. ABDC Summer for Grades 6–9

Has your camper outgrown traditional day camp programs? These fun camps focus on age-appropriate topics and activities. Campers must be entering grades 6-9 in Fall 2022. No camp held Fridays.
