Glamour Life One of the most powerful things is a mother's love for their children or grandchildren. This month's issue pays tribute to mom, the matriarch, the one whose countless homes across America is the one individual that make the home well...run. Mothers are the pinnacle of all things family. They are the bread winners, the champions, the leaders, the mentors, and just about any amazing title who help our young children achieve.
The Unbreakable Bond… a Mother’s (or Grandmother’s) “Love”. Unless you have raised a child you will a have hard time understanding something called "unconditional love". That love is a parents love for their child or grandchild that is the most powerful bond that can never be broken. It is the relationship bond that you will never understand until you have experienced it. In this month's issue we feature Katrina Love, President & CEO of Love Our Glamour, Inc. and her granddaughter (yes you heard that right) her granddaughter 8 month old Layla Ali and Layla's mom Ruwa Ali. These amazing women make it happen everyday and when Layla was born 8 months ago life changing is an understatement as Layla is OMG...downright…adorable!! These moms are amazing women and truly should be given a holiday every month. They are the center of gravity that make our world a better place. We salute the moms and grandmoms all over the world because without them there would be nothing. Reach out to your mom even if she is not here and say again THANK YOU!

Francinna Wright, the do it all mom...
Francinna Wright is a woman who wears many hats. She is constantly trying to balance her life as a follower of Christ, wife, mother, teacher, advocate, mentor, business women & entrepreneur, and let’s not forget a brown belt in martial arts! She reminds herself that there are only 24 hours in a day, so she wants to make each moment count. She has a daily prayer that the Lord guides her footsteps and she asks Him for strength to endure all the hurdles life throws her way. He has truly been faithful to her over the years and she is mindful not to forget and thank Him for the many blessings He has provided.

This year will mark Francinna’s 18th year as a classroom teacher in the Urbana School district. She loves the rewards that come with being her students first teacher and watching them develop. Since she started her teaching career, she married her soul mate Javae' Wright Sr. who sparked the business side of her. Together, they have built a lifestyle athletic apparel company "Leadaz" and a youth program focused on leadership and life skills "Lead4life". Aside from those two growing businesses, she’s a Mary Kay Consultant and a Travel Club Representative. Now is that a lot or what, but Francinna is a make it happen type of woman. She and husband Javae' have raised 3 children who are now teens, Javae' Jr. (17), Saraya (15), and Khamiel (14). It is a joy to watch them grow up and come into their own personalities. She feels honored and blessed to have the opportunity to mentor her children and mold them into the great individuals they will become. As a mom, her goal is to provide for her kids with a lot of experiences that she didn't have growing up on the tough south side of Chicago. Francinna’s mom gave her and her sister all she was able to give them at the time and she is very appreciative of her upbringing. She absolutely enjoys being a mom because she gets to pass on the knowledge she has obtained to her children. Juggling both family and multiple business ventures has been a challenge, but this high powered go getter has managed to make it work. Her days usually consist of dropping off her kids at school, going to work and often attending meetings after school, picking up the kids from track practice or attending track meets, then catching up on her business checklist in the evening. She is seldom in bed before midnight.

On the weekends, she spends quality time with her children by going to the movies or shopping with her girls. One of the most rewarding parts of being a mom is showing them the world and being able to create unforgettable memories through vacations. For the past eight years, the Wrights have made this their family tradition and it's not until they have arrived at their destination that her kids find out the location and agenda. It is awesome to see the surprise on their faces! Staying connected to her now teen kids keeps her youthful, so she is that mom who is in their words "extra" due to her mommy swag. Staying on top of grades, going to parent meetings, and popping up on their Snapchat feed is a part of the job. Francinna knows that she has to stay a step ahead of the game being the master tightrope walker and keeping her balance on this amazing road of motherhood.
Giving Thanks Everyday to Mom We remember our Mother on Mother’s Day. That is not to say that otherwise we have forgotten her. But on Mother’s Day, we especially say thanks to our mother. This is the day to celebrate Motherhood. Let us talk about our mother and find out if one day in a year is enough to remember mother? We are grown up today because of our mother. Right from the day we are born, mother takes us under her protection. She feeds us, gives us medicines, looks after our growth and teaches us to walk and play. Mother helps us in our school studies and fights for us with others if required. Mother saves us from every calamity. Watch a toddler in the lap of her mother and you will see a deep sense of peace on his/her face. A child feels totally safe when he/she knows that mother is nearby. When shall we thank her for bringing us up? When shall we thank her for the sleepless nights she had because of us? When shall we thank her for cleaning us during our infancy? When shall we thank her for giving us birth? A mother deserves much more than a single Mother’s day. She should be sent a Thank you ecard everyday. She should know that we realize what all she did for us and are thankful for that. No thank you can ever repay a mother’s debt, but at least we will make her happy.
