Sean Lackey

SEAN LACKEY was raised in Rocky River by his Irish immigrant parents, John (County Cavan) and Eileen (County Clare) and has two sisters, Maureen Graney and Sheila McDonald. He attended Saint Ignatius High School and the University of Dayton. Sean is also a graduate of the famed Second City where he learned acting and improvisational theatre. He has produced and acted in the audience-interactive comedy, Flanagan’s Wake at Playhouse Square since 2010, the longest running theatre show in Cleveland history. He also wrote, produced, and directed the motion picture, The Yank, starring Fred Willard, Kevin Farley, and Colm Meaney. Sean is married to the love of his life, Michelle, and lives in Valley City where he is a township trustee. He also owns Gandalf’s Pub & Restaurant with Michelle and has four dogs, two horses, and mice.

Malachi House Mission Statement

Malachi House, created out of a Christian sense of ministry, serves persons who are terminally ill without cost or regard to gender, race, religion or national origin. This home ministers to individuals who need an available caregiver, who have limited or no financial resources and are in need of special home care in the final stages of life. A trained staff and volunteers provide spiritual, emotional and physical support with the assistance of a hospice team.
