Traditions @ Elko As a school community - we are embarking on an opportunity to develop and establish the long standing traditions and learning expectations at Elko Middle School. Athletics - Mr. Harding Elko will participate in all HCPS athletics. – Fall sports - football, girls basketball, boys soccer, - tryouts begin 1st week of school; cheering (tryouts in spring of previous school year) **Tryouts begin 1st week of school – Winter I sports - boys basketball, wrestling – Winter II sports - gymnastics (combined with Rolfe) – Spring sports - Track, boys tennis, softball, baseball, girls soccer **Academic requirements = PASS ALL core classes and one other the semester before to qualify and maintain through season. **All participants must have a physical from a physician as proven by a completed and signed physical card. **MUST follow team rules or risk being asked to not participate.
