arkansas state Fair comPlex

If you’ve got an event to put on, we’ve got everything you need to make it a success. At the Arkansas State Fairgrounds, we have over 120,000 square feet of event space, a coliseum with seats for 10,000 people, meeting facilities with an average seating for 4,000 people and ties for almost 500 cattle.

Our versatile, 140-acre, 6-building complex can host almost any kind and size of event. From a small meeting to a large convention, from a sporting event to a concert and from a horse show to a black-tie celebration, the Arkansas State Fairgrounds is your facility of choice in central Arkansas.

The State Fairgrounds is only five minutes from downtown Little Rock and a short drive from the Little Rock National

lighted parking to handle the large crowds. You’ll also find one of the region’s best service and support groups for entertainment, sound, lighting, food and decorations.

Take a tour of the Fairgrounds facilities on our website. Select a building and get all the basic information you’ll need to host your next event. For more information on rates and availability or to schedule a time to visit us in person, contact Meri Smith, Director of Events and Facilities, at 501-372-8341 or email MSmith@asfg.net.

caPital hotel Preserving the historical idiosyncrasies that make an 1876 hotel so special; following a two-year, $24M restoration, the Capital Hotel now assures guests the convenience and comfort of modern luxury. Through the vision of owners, Warren and Harriet Stephens, the transformation included the creation of two upgraded sleeping room tiers, tripling the meeting/ private dining capacity without compromising the hotel’s footprint and the addition of four kitchens, including the country’s grandest kitchen installation of 2007. Each of the hotel’s five independent conference rooms now offers 4,000 lumen scissor-drop video projectors and retractable screens in addition to private kitchen facilities. With the complement of almost two associates per guest room, the Capital may be the finest small conference hotel in the US.

caPital hotel Little Rock’s most elegant venue has finally made her debut. Resembling a Victorian arbor, the ballroom of the Capital Hotel is unmistakably ideal for weddings and social gatherings, but the room’s uniquely square plan is custom designed for upscale executive conferences seeking hollow-square seating.

Tucked away from the madding crowd, the Quapaw and Cherokee Parlors can be used individually or together for an intimate dining event, cocktail reception or conference.

Book-ending the historic mezzanine, the newly designed Brooks and Baxter Parlors offer the hotel’s original floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning period design yet with a private kitchen and unexpectedly state-of-the-art audio/visual capabilities.
