I hope summer is treating you well! As we approach closer and closer to the school year, make sure to try to fix your sleep schedule :D Anywas, the theme of this newsletter is retro videogames! It's actually matching with the Meet the Officers post (@lrhs.keyclub on ig) made by our lovely Webmaster, Hanna! Hey y’all :) I’m Chris and I’ll be serving as your President for 2023-2024! A bit about me is that I love being an academic weapon, volunteering, rock climbing, KPOP, Chaewon, and gaming! Outside of Key Club, I am a competitor in UIL Mathematics, Calculator Apps., Science, Computer Apps, Number Sense, Academic Decathlon, USNCO, and am President of our UIL Academics. I hope to push us ever farther this year by further impacting our community and bringing home hardware. Feel free to reach out, and I can’t wait to serve alongside each and everyone of you!

Hello!! I’m Ella Beason, and I’ll be your 2023-2024 service coordinator! Other than Key Club, I also have the honor of being involved in band, choir, hope squad, as well as TaeKwonDo outside of school. I absolutely love everything I’m involved in as I get the privilege of meeting so many new and wonderful people! Hopefully I can meet even more amazing people this year and get to help the community grow, and just have fun volunteering with everyone :D!

Hi! My name is Lananh and I will be your social coordinator for the upcoming year. Aside from my service within Key Club, I am a member of Ben Barber’s HOSA, NHS, The Youth Medicine club, Varsity Cheerleading, as well as an active volunteer for the Hand-in-Hand Mission non-profit. It is my goal to make Key Club fun and fulfilling, and I can not wait for what this year brings!

Hey, Key Clubbers! My name is Madison, and I am serving as the Division 39S Lieutenant Governor of the Texas-Oklahoma District! Apart from volunteering, I love hanging out with friends, listening to music, and visiting National Parks.

Outside of Key Club, I am also Girl Up Secretary, NHS Historian, UIL Academics Treasurer, and am in Academic Decathlon. I’m so excited for this year and am looking forward to seeing everything we’ll achieve together!

DIVISIONAL PROJECT

A person's childhood plays a large role in their development. Because of this, Keys for Kids is aimed at uplifting children, fostering their overall well-being, and promoting their emotional and social development. Through this year's divisional project, I hope to instill hope, inspire dreams, and shape a brighter future for every child involved.

How to participate: organize an pen-pal system with a neighboring elementary school host an arts and crafts night in your community read to kids in at a local library make care packages to send to a children's hospital
