Q2 Lunch with Leaders: Learn about Paradise Park President & CEO Jon Ellis Join us for our 2nd quarter Lunch with Leaders program at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 7 at Paradise Park. Lunch with Leaders is an opportunity to engage with successful Lee’s Summit community leaders and entrepreneurs and learn valuable insights and information about achieving success and gain clear direction on solving current problems and/or challenges from leaders in the community. Our featured leader for this session is Presdient & CEO of Paradise Park Jon Ellis. Ellis is well known and loved by many around town. For more than 20 years, he’s been active in Lee’s Summit, generously giving his time and talents, and encouraging others to do the same. Through the years, not only has he been the driving force behind building the Paradise Park business into the region’s premier family destination, he also helped start or strengthen a lot of great organizations, including the Educational Foundation, Visitor’s Council, the Lee’s Summit Health Care Foundation, Lee’s Summit Lacrosse, Rotary and Optimists to name a few. Through partnerships and collaboration with local businesses, such as The Exit Room and Bodies Race Company, Paradise Park has been able to expand and add new attractions. “My whole focus is how do we continue to have the people of the community have a culture of caring, helping, working together to continue to deliver something together that is better than what we can do individually. Like 1+1=3,” Jon said. Register at LSchamber.com; reservations are required and space is limited. Contact Matt Baird for more information.
