In ib first ic\\ \\ t•ck .... the club haci ..;o mnny members that two days a week were set aside for riding. llalf of the acti,·c mrmher,hip rode on \Vedncsclay. the other half on \lcmda~ "· I feadquarters of the group was the Bt1stletou l~iding .\cademy. . \s winter c~u11c on, the Club, under the direction of Brother Felix Raymond, had to re\'ise its riding schedule to suit the whims of the weather. Comparative inactivit) caused the membership to decline sharply. At this time, the club was built around a nuclcul'o of ten riders. In an election. Thomas Rogers was cho~en President: John ~learn .... \ ice-l'resident: F rank :-;channe. Secretary, and Robert Carabasi. Treasurer. In the la"t '' cek of ~[arch, the Club changccl its stables to the Philadelphia Riding '\cademy. Thursday was set as '·ridin~ clay". Chief activity uf the dub this year was a three-hour ride taken by member!' of the club through the \Vissahickon \ 'alley. The ~cason closed late in the year, and an increa.;ing mcmbcrship. points, accord111g to Brother Raymond, to an active future history.

Least-known o f all athletic aggregations in the school is the I .aSalle Swinm1ing Team, which this year won but two of its twelve Catholic I.cague dual meets.
all season. lie also swam for the freestyle relay team, and placed li fth in the Catholic League Championships at l'cnn to get LaSalle's only place 111 the meet.
