Patrick Adams Patrick Adams is flat-out one of the most dynamic and versatile credit union presenters around. He has devoted over 25 years to the credit union movement and is now the CEO of St. Louis Community Credit Union. Prior to taking on the role of CEO, Patrick served as executive vice president of St. Louis Community Credit Union for more than fifteen years. He has also held various positions at other large Missouri credit unions, and has helped the Missouri League in developing numerous programs and projects. Patrick has never met a paradigm he wouldn't like to change. He helps audiences question the "because-we've-always-done-it-that-way" mentality and develop real-world solutions. He emphasizes the importance of service and quality in serving members through all delivery systems and challenges audiences to accept and adapt to change...no matter how painful the process. His high-energy presentations are continually updated.

Mike Bender Mike Bender is Founder and Director of Velocity Solutions. In 1995, he co-founded the company, then known as Image Products, along with his wife Bridget. Mike maintains an active role in the day-to-day operations of the company, specializing in the development of new solutions. In 1999, Mike proposed the idea of a turnkey exercise incentive program to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. Today, that program is viewed as the industry standard and used by insurance companies in 20 states. In 2001, Mike decided to re-apply this strategy to the financial industry and what has evolved into Velocity Solutions was born. Prior to starting this company, Mike directed the product development, in-house manufacturing, distribution, company store development, and catalog production for the logo programs of Piper Aircraft, Cessna Aircraft, Piedmont Airlines and numerous other smaller companies. Mike attended UNC Chapel Hill. He and Bridget have one son and live in Miramar Beach, Florida. Mike is both an aviation and boating enthusiast, loves a good casino, and has no patience for golf.

Tim Harrington, CPA Timothy P. Harrington, CPA, Exploding the stereotype of his profession, Tim Harrington is a Certified Public Accountant who is also a dynamic speaker. Tim has that rare ability to make complex subjects very simple. As an expert in the field of credit unions, he has consulted with and provided training for hundreds of credit unions and tens of thousands of credit union volunteers and staff members throughout the United States. Since 1996, Tim has been President of T.E.A.M. Resources, a firm which provides consulting, strategic planning, and training to credit unions from coast-to-coast. TEAM Resources’ clients range from a few million in assets to the billions in assets. Tim was formerly the Chairman of the Board of a $150 million credit union in Tucson, Arizona. Tim was appointed to the Board of this troubled credit union in 2001 and served until 2006. During his time on the Board, the credit union evolved from losing over $2,000,000 per year to becoming the strong and profitable financial institution today.
