These round bottomed tubes have molded in locking bases that work best with the Stockwellstorage rack (#8542) but are also compatible with racks offered by Simport,Corning,and Nunc. When used in appropriate storage racks, tubes are easily opened or closed with one-handedoperation. Tubes are graduatedin 0.5mL incrementsand have a frostedwritingarea. Non-sterile tubes are packagedseparatelyfrom caps. Steriletubes are packagedwith caps on to ensurethe sterileenvironment is maintainedwithinthe tube even afterthe package is opened.Caps are not autoclavable.
