A note from our Principal… At the beginning of the year there were several changes made to underquoting laws in NSW. This left sellers with the choice of selling via auction, promoting a fixed price or selling with a price guide of up to 10% of the value. Many of our sellers made a choice to sell via auction after understanding the positives and negatives for the various sales methods. They made these choices also understanding the changing market conditions and their choice has certainly paid off with our auction clearance rate now standing at 87.5% after 14 of our past 16 auctions sold prior or under the hammer.
