Stars with Hair

Comets come from the outer realms of the Solar System. They have been described as ‘stars with hair’ because of their long tails. The tail can change direction depending on where the Sun is.

Collectable

Each box has an illustration or two of a planet from our Solar System. The child is prompted to cut out the planets and connect it to the fridge magnets found inside the box. Once all of the boxes are collected the solar system is completed.

Collect all the boxes to complete the Solar System This interactive activity makes learning fun and brings the Solar System to life on the family fridge. The kids are also taught a rhyme to remember the order of the planets.

Web Presence

When we were designing our cereal boxes we wanted to create a concept that could be applied to other media. We felt the space theme was fun for kids without being too scholarly. We wanted to extend the fun on the cereal boxes

further, and have created disposable activity sheets that can be downloaded from the website. The Bear website will take kids into a wonderful new world, jam packed full of facts and activities.

The theme is continued online to engage kids with educational activties

Activity Place Mats

Our activity place mats can be enjoyed for more than one breakfast sitting. Once the cereal boxes are completed, parents can download the printable place mat in order to entertain kids for longer. We designed these activity sheets

which can also be used as disposable place mats. We hoped that our place mats would bring even more fun to the breakfast table and beyond.

Printable activity sheets that double as disposable place mats can be downloaded online
