Masters in Jewish Education Plus Pardes A one-year program for formal or experiential Jewish educators entering or pursuing a Masters in Jewish Education (or related field) and looking to upgrade their academic degree with a vital layer of classical Jewish text study, professional seminars and active participation in the vibrant, diverse Pardes community in Israel. • ELIGIBILITY: Candidates must have basic textual and Hebrew knowledge, an above-
average academic record, first-rate interpersonal skills, some experience in formal or experiential education, as well as a strong personal Jewish commitment.
• PROGRAM: MAPP includes full-time, intensive text study in the Pardes Beit
Midrash; participation in Pardes's Jewish Educators Track; summer Hebrew language ulpan prior to the academic year; and field experiences in Israel.
• BENEFITS: Participants receive one year of Pardes tuition; funded ulpan; and a
living stipend of $800 per month for 10 months.
• COMMITMENT: Graduates must commit to completing a Masters within two years.
Those who have already completed their degree commit to working in the field of Jewish education for two years.
