At Sotheby’s International Realty, we strongly believe in

success.

The first time Diane Bostrom traveled to South Carolina while taking her daughter, Kate, for a college visit to Clemson University, she sensed “the magic of the Blue Ridge Mountains,” and was confident Lake Keowee and the Upstate would become a very important part of her life. Diane hails from the Finger Lakes Region of New York, an area that resembles South Carolina’s Upstate, both filled with bucolic lakes, hiking trails, and beautiful scenery, but located adjacent to mid-sized cities. Growing up in New York, Diane’s childhood love of agriculture and showing beef cattle nationally led her to the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill where she earned a degree in Animal Science. Diane then garnered experience and success in all areas of agriculture from growing crops to livestock. Before changing careers, she was owner/ operator of Bostrom Farms Livestock and Meats, a wholesale/ retail meat plant, with a 10,000-head feeder hog operation and has been involved with dairy cattle and Belgian Horses. Sadly, the death of her second daughter, Kristy, from leukemia changed the direction of her life, but also solidified many of the values and commitments that make Diane such an exceptional real estate agent. Diane recognizes the value of hard work and persistence in the face of adversity, the gift of life and family, and the hope of a flourishing future. When Diane moved Kate to Clemson University, Diane moved to Lake Hartwell, earned her real estate license, and dedicated herself to a new career - learning every aspect of the business and providing all her clients with service beyond their expectations. Clients describe Diane as “authentic, genuine, and tough” - a strong client advocate who will always go the extra mile to help them close the best real estate deal. Since 2009, Diane’s expertise in the Lake Keowee market and the greater Upstate area has been developed by years of experience as a top-producing Realtor, representing both buyers and sellers. Diane earned her Luxury Home Marketing Certification while working extensively in all the communities on Lake Keowee as well as Lake Hartwell, Seneca, and Clemson. She has also served on the staff of The Reserve on Lake Keowee. As a strong communicator and sensitive listener, Diane works diligently to connect with her clients. As a tenacious negotiator, she ensures client satisfaction with both the real estate process and result. Diane expects – and gives – complete honesty and transparency with her clients, and when business concludes, many clients number among her closest friends.

DIANE BOSTROM diane@jha-sothebysrealty.com 864-280-5844

Diane delivers a level of service so exceptional that lasting friendships are a natural result of her business relationships. Diane not only knows the lake area, she enjoys it as well. Spending time with family and friends on Lake Keowee is a special pleasure. She takes advantage of the many amenities found in her own community. When not on the lake, she can often be found entertaining friends or traveling to Charleston, SC to spend time with her daughter’s family while spoiling her two grandchildren. So what are you waiting for? If you are interested in exploring the lake area, ready to buy, or thinking about selling your current home, give Diane Bostrom a call.
