LTG of 24S: Megan Reynosa Monthly Condolences! Dear lovely clubs, AUTUMN IS HERE! I’ve never been so excited! Although we do live in Texas, those 70 degree days never fail to put me in a good mood. I hope everyone is doing great, I’ve been planning out the year for our division and I’m so happy for what’s coming up! FTC was a complete success and thank you so much to all the clubs that attend, this will definitely go in my book of LTG memories. Halloween is coming up soon… This means Trick or Treat for UNICEF! Grab your boxes and start collecting money! Email if you haven’t received your boxes or need to order them! I hope everyone is managing the stress that is school and having great meetings! I would love to attend yours so email me when you’d like me to come! I love you, 24s! Yours Truly, Megan c:

Governor’s Project: This year; our new Texas-Oklahoma Governor, Katie Wilson, has chosen the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as her governor’s project. This organization helps children who are battling with cancer, suffering from a traumatic injury, and/or require constant care. 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for treatment every minute – that’s one child every second. Regardless of why these children in up in these hospitals, 170 Miracle Network Hospitals always have their doors open. By helping with this organization, we’re changing the lives of children who hold the key to our future. Note: This is required for ALL clubs in the Texas-Oklahoma District to participate in the governor’s project! Start figuring out how your club, school and community can contribute to this wonderful organization!

Rainbow Centre! Every LTG has to do a divisional project which is a project that helps a community in some sort of way. I chose to help an organization in Sri Lanka called The Rainbow Centre! They provide children that have appalling diseases. Its aim is to provide the children with the skills they need to break free from the poverty in which they live. Its primary focus is to enable children to access the educational system. The Rainbow Centre operates a free pre-school, nursery, day school, vocational training and scholarship programs. It runs medical programs for children and their families.

Step by Step MUC!

FTC WAS A SUCCESS! FTC was SO GREAT! Even though we are still division and region, the conference was filled with great vibes and laughter! I became closer to you guys and it was so nice to bond with other clubs. Our region bonded so well that we might be planning something towards the future… I can’t thank you guys enough for letting me do what I do, without these clubs, I wouldn’t have the position I hold. If your club didn’t attend FTC, DON’T STRESS! WE CAN STILL HAVE FUN! Let’s set up a time where you guys are free to do the conference, since some clubs couldn’t attend, we have a date where they could meet. Email me if this would be better for you. Thank you again, I LOVE YOU 24S!
