Ackergill Tower, a 15th century castle on a breath taking beach at the northernmost tip of Scotland, offers an incomparable combination of inspiring surroundings, exhilarating activities and indulgent hospitality.

If, however, you just want to give everyone a great time, there’s a cool and funky bar, a host of games rooms and the spa, which includes gym, pool, treatment rooms, sauna and steam room. To host a bigger bash we can set up a marquee for 250 on the lawn.

We’ve recently completed a major refurbishment of the house, grounds and quayside to restore this romantic home to its former glory and create a spectacular and flexible venue for a host of different business events.

Stanbrook Abbey, originally designed in the Gothic Revival style for a community of Benedictine nuns in the mid-1800s, is comfortably set beneath the gorgeous green ridge of the Malvern Hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Callow Great Hall, the former chapel, has been preserved in all its splendour, with ornate stonework, vibrant stained glass, exquisite wood carving and high vaulted ceiling, providing the most inspirational space imaginable. The recent refurbishment has created a variety of different reception rooms to provide a venue that’s as flexible as it is impressive. The Piano Bar, the Boardroom, Thompson Dining Hall, the Clarence Room and the Bistro offer a range of possibilities and Callow Great Hall is magnificently atmospheric with exceptional acoustics for musical or theatrical events. You can also spread out into the magnificent grounds and there’s room to erect a marquee for a further 300.

If you really want to go overboard with a corporate event that totally blows all others out of the water then this circular fortress, built to protect Portsmouth Harbour from the warships of Napoleon III, has the ‘wow’ factor in abundance. Working closely with English Heritage, we’ve invested £3 million to transform it into a truly iconic property that is not only utterly unique but supremely luxurious and comfortable as well. The original 12.5 inch muzzle loading guns have made way for three private dining rooms, three bars, wine cellar, open-air hot-tub, Laurent-Perrier champagne bar, sauna, sun deck and games rooms. There’s function space for 60 and the eight bedroom suites sleep 16. There’s also a full crew to service your needs right around the clock, including your own private chef. Even getting here, in our own launch, is an adventure.
