Case Report Treatment of a Patient with longstanding Atrophy in the Upper and Lower Jaw

Overview • Female patient: – 47 year at intake, – edentulous since the age of 20 year
• Medically: – Coronary stent (3 years ago) – Sterilisation ( 5 years ago) – Hypercholesterolemia
• Medication: – Anticoagulant: calciumcarbasalaar (Ascal) – Isosorbidedinitrate (Isordil) – Rosuvastatine (Crestor)
Situation • Patient desires: fixed prosthesis in the upper and lower jaw • Degree of atrophy (Misch classification) – Severe atrophy Div D in upper jaw – Atrophy C-h in lower jaw (frontally)
• Treatment plan: – Upper jaw: Quad zygoma, early loading, overdenture on Nobelprocera Bar – Lower jaw: 4 implants, early loading, overdenture on Nobelprocera Bar
