THINK EXTREME iamond Pauber was founded by Paolo Bernieri in 1979, with the support of General Electric, and was the first Italian business to manufacture diamond wires. A passion for research, a determination to achieve results and an organization structured around client satisfaction were the founding principles of the company, which has become an influential leader in its sector. Diamond Pauber’s core business today is centered around diamond wires and diamond cutting-blades. Production takes place in high-tech plants, and is planned and completed internally. Diamond Pauber controls every production phase with support from highly qualified staff. Diamond Pauber tools can be used in a variety of contexts, including marble, stone, granite, cement and steel, as sintered and electroplated diamond wires, cutting-blades, discs, milling cutters, grinders and special tools. Diamond sintered and electroplated wires have been made in specific versions tailored to cutting concrete, cement, steel and, in extreme cases, for the decontamination of nuclear centers and naval demolition. Furthermore, one of Diamond Pauber’s main qualities is its ability to always look for new solutions, a feature that allows our firm to produce tools that are often innovative, such as the new bead that has been sintered by using the DIM® (Diamond Injection Moulding) technology. The injection-presswork technology allows us to make diamond tools of any shape, such as the double-hump bead 9AS.v2. In a nutshell, it allows us to make tools that have a complicated shape and that were impossible to manufacture… until now. This new technology offers many advantages, the most important one being that it cuts sawing costs, thanks to a sharper tool. We are currently working on other shapes, such as the sintered tapered cone bead, and the new products will soon be introduced to the public. We can therefore say that our key quality is the ability to think outside the box: we can find original, innovative solutions that enable us to meet our clients’ needs and offer customized answers to their problems. This is why we can proudly say that our firm is “marketing orientated”. Moreover, our quality handling system certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 is carried out during the entire production process, from the selection of materials and suppliers to the testing of our products.
