The personality in question is german animation director Charlotte "Lotte" Reiniger, master in the art of silhouette animation. Lotte made more than 40 films throughout her career, all of them using her own technique. His best-known films are "The Adventures of Prince Achmed" (1926), the oldest survivor animated feature film, and "Papageno" (1935), with music by Mozart. Reiniger is also known for create one of the precursor multiplane camera.
