CAMINO
IF CAMPER WAS A CAMERA
Re-coding a shoe brand into a camera. Living in the moment. Just as Camper does with it’s shoes, Camino breaks with the archetype of a traditional camera, having no viewfinder or live view display and all it takes to capture moments is squeeze this torchlight-shaped camera. Creative process involved lots of lateral thinking and sketch modelling to quickly test out ideas

ABOUT
The app
Breaking free from your cravings. Pal tackles one of those wicked problems: how to control our cravings. Be that getting away from sweets or reducing the ammount of cigarettes you smoke a day, breaking habits is very tricky. Pal uses haptic interfaces so you feel good and get in control in the moment you crave. On the long run it is part of a broader physical reward system.

“Everything about going to the dentist feels clean. Except when you have your mouth full of plastiline. It’s uncomfortable, doesn’t feel safe and you just can’t breathe normally. That terrifies me.” - Angela, 21 Law student. Wears braces.

L U MI ABOUT
Learning from automotive design. Lumi was developed in a mixed group of engineers and designers at University of S達o Paulo. I took part in the first year of the project, developing the icon, presentation and clay model. All the work was done in paralel with mechanical engineers so we could develop the technical packaging and final form simultaneously. The electric car will

Social change by design
Empowering communities to change reality The Colabora Project is a multidisciplinary group of students that work with co-creative processes and design methods to bring positive social change to different communities. I have lead the 25-30 people team for a semestre on an education project that aimed on empowering brazilian public school kids to change the reality around them. Students exchange experiences and learn more about different subjects.
Participants come from Social Sciences to Nutrition.

ABOUT 2014 - 2015
At CSM I’ve been given lots of freedom to explore what do I want to do as a designer and develop my user experience skills.
I believe in design as a problem-solving process and over the past four years it became my tool to modify, improve and transform for the best the world that we live in.

SKILLS Social
I am good at listening and telling stories, assuming leadership positions and co-creating with others. Podcast listener and book reader in public transport count me in for a good chat about tech and public spaces :)
Software
Adobe Master Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Premiere. Advanced Rhinoceros skills, basic Auto CAD knowledge and good at rendering with KeyShot. Also like playing with Processing and currently learning some Arduino.
RES U ME
I am very interested in learning from others behaviour to create meaningful and engaging experiences for people. Currently trying to get away from the computer work and get my hands dirty. I also love chatting about tech, psychology and imagining ways to improve the living in our cities and how we manage healthcare.

OTHER ACTIVITIES 2013 2014
AUS - Lumi Project I was in the first team responsible to design a hybrid vehicle to the city of tomorrow. Two prototypes will be developed on the following years in partnership with the Polytechnic Schooland other institutions.
2013 2014
Academic Research From August 2013 to July 2014 I researched different creativity methods in several areas of study, from psychology to engineering and the arts. In the end I curated the data in a didactic material to stimulate innovation in problem-solving situations.
2015
Global Design Initiative During my studies at CSM I’ve been fortunate to go on this cultural exchange trip to develop a project in Singapore. One of the most relevant experiences of my life, it gave me a north to what I want to do next.
There I have learned and developed my team-work, trend research, and digital innovation skills. Clients included Faber-Castell, O Boticário, O Boticário Capricho, Besni, Coquelux and Rico.com.vc. Final users went from kids and teenagers to entrepreneurs and house-wives.

projeto colabora Colabora is a multidisciplinary group of students that look forward to creating positive social change in our society. I first joined the project as a collaborator in 2012. In 2014 my role was to guide the bigger (25-35 people) group of participants. We partnered with a public school to better understand the public education status quo in Brazil and develop with both lecturers and students new ways to learn in (and out) the classroom. #MelhoraAqui In 2014 we were stoked to make this happen and both started and failed our plans to turn Melhora Aqui into a startup. I still didn’t give up on this one and plan to turn it into a real thing when back in Brazil.

I want to keep exploring my hability to co-create with others and create products and services that are truly relevant to shape the world of tomorrow. In the short term I want to learn more from people’s behavior to deliver memorable experiences through products and services that have us, people, at it’s heart. I am currently looking for an internship where I can develop my analytical and system thinking in an inspiring and open environment. C O N TA C T web
