Experimental Communication I have learned a wide range of new techniques on this module; I am able to take further into my future. I have also learned to take more of a responsibility and follow my own judgments and choices, due to the module being about experimentation The 3D letter task was quite a straight forward; only thing was that you only get one chance. I was successful in completing this task but I had one problem, I was not able to get a final high quality photo of the letter after its destruction. This was because of the location that I was filming in, the police came over and said that I had to put the fire out and walk away. Still pushing forward and developed the project by adding music and some effects to the video. Illustration for animation was my most favorites on this module. It involved one of my strengths (illustrations) and allowed me to experiment with them. This was one of my strongest projects on the module, and I think it show with the amount that has been put into it. Creating the pan effect for my animation was fun; I experimented with sound, visuals and narrative. I found the printing exercises interesting and sometimes a little challenging, I had never done any of the techniques before, but I was willing to learn. Projecting (group project) was the most difficult only because it was hard to stay in contact with everyone in my group. Time was running thin and only me and another member of the group were able to complete the task as a team. We used each other’s strengths in work to support each other’s weaknesses. Over all we had a fun time projecting and was happy with the results. Due to restrictions on getting the projector outside I was unable to show some work how I intended. Thais because this module was so open to interpretation on some of the briefs, I was a little confused on what was required, and followed my own choices some of the
time. This was so I had produced work rather than left it to producing nothing.
