The city of Naples, as most historical cities, has several areas with different morphological characteristics and identities, often marked by various surface treatments, because of different areas of settlement. Within the urban fabric, it is possible to notice areas characterised by the simultaneous presence of historical and modern contexts, with buildings and roads of different periods of construction. The complexity of these physical and morphological conditions creates unique microclimatic conditions. Borgo Antignano, inside the Vomero district, is an urban area characterized by the presence of different morphological characteristics. There is a small cluster of buildings with an irregular shape, still recognisable today, which forms the old Borgo Antignano, with the presence of an outdoor market. It is surrounded by late XVIII and mid XX century buildings, so defining a context that appears to be representative for the definition of urban redevelopment in listed historical contex
