Create teardrop shapes for arms. Apply a light coating of shortening to the arms, and then apply the Designer Prints™ decoration. Rub the surface gently with your finger to connect. Make two gum paste balls for the hands and attach.

Gather all the tools (shown here) you'll need to create these cute critters.

Roll out your fondant, and moisten it with water, simple syrup or piping gel. Remove any puddles. Peel the Designer Prints™ decoration from the backing sheet and place on rolled out fondant.

Chocolate Pouring

Melt chocolate or candy melts and pour onto textured side of transfer sheet.

Use offset spatula to spread melted chocolate evenly across transfer sheet.

1 After letting chocolate cool, carefully peel acetate sheet from chocolate. Note: Chocolate is ready to handle when it is soft enough to cut and before becoming brittle.

MET HOD 2

MOLDED

Chocolate Pieces

Gather ruler, scissors, chocolate mold and transfer sheet. Measure size of chocolate mold depressions, using a ruler if needed.

1 Fill each mold depression with melted chocolate in a piping bag. Tip: If using a circular mold, use a round craft punch the same size as your mold cavity to cut sheets.

Press cutters into cooled chocolate to cut out shapes. Tip: Cut shapes closely together to reduce waste. Leftover chocolate cannot be remelted after transfer sheet has been applied.

Cut transfer sheet with scissors into pieces to fit bottom of each mold depression. Make sure to place transfer sheet with textured side face up.

After chocolate has cooled, pop chocolate out of mold and carefully peel acetate piece from chocolate.
