Replacing some flats, maisonettes and q blocks with high quality family housing Remodelling the Radburn layout to a more traditional street layout with private gardens and car parking The Sheltered Housing review has recommended phasing out 6 of the sheltered schemes and the PFI provides an opportunity to replace them with state of the art Extra Care, elderly persons facilities

FAQ’s: What is Extra Care? Specialist, high quality accommodation for older people, that will include a whole range of other facilities.

Nottingham City Homes (NCH) will continue to maintain their properties. Facilities will be maintained throughout the process There will be lots of consultation with people from The Meadows about the Neighbourhood Plan Residents who are affected will have every opportunity to talk to us on an individual basis to tell us their views and prepare themselves for the change

What will happen if my home is selected for redevelopment? We will let you know full details about which homes will be affected as soon as we have them. Every resident will be supported through the process. NCH Tenants will be offered other properties and supported in that. If you live in a privately owned property Nottingham City Council is developing a scheme to support you at every step during the process and provide you with more information as the programme develops.

Anyone who wants to stay in The Meadows will be able to!

FAQ’s: What is remodelling? Changing the estate layout and getting rid of cul-de-sacs, alleyways and cut through’s. It may involve turning houses round to face the street.
