The Lakes Collection

One of Lucy’s biggest collections to date A STUNNING NEW 10-PIECE ART COLLECTION The Lake District is one of my favourite places. From regular holidays as a child visiting relatives, I now visit with my own family choosing to spend time at our caravan in Keswick. From the top of the fells to the depths of the lakes, there is something about the mountains, glorious lakes and the fresh air that lifts my spirits. There’s nothing like being on the lake on a sunny day or reaching the top of a peak and soaking in the views beneath. I wanted to paint a collection that spans all seasons and showcases its woolly inhabitants as well as the people and pets that frequent this magnificent part of our country. It doesn’t matter what season it is; the Lake District provides a natural, rugged beauty that I felt needed to be captured in my art. From the golden glow of the trees in autumn to the rich purple heathers of the mountains; the lush lime green of the dales and the darkest night skies, I certainly had plenty of material to work with. I hope the collection inspires you to see the same beauty that I do and that it brings a smile to all those who view it.
