LUIS DYACHENKO PORTFOLIO 2021
ABOUT I am a freelance illustrator, living in Granada, Spain. I have a degree in fine arts from the university of Sevilla, and a professional Illustration & design master in Trazos. I have worked and collaborated in several graphic publications, game boards, exhibitions, and contests. I also took part in “The Crown of Wu”, an awarded video game project currently developed by TrtLabs, Red Mountain and Trazos. My main skill is digital painting with Photoshop, extending to some other mediums, like Clip Studio, Corelpainter, Adobe Illustrator, and of course, traditional drawing and painting. I am always open to work on different subjects and disciplines of illustration, but im especially keen on medieval fantasy, drifting to a cartoonish style.

The Crown of Wu is an ongoing project developed by TrtLabs, Red Mountain, and Trazos, which has been presented in Madrid Games Week, and awarded in the Play Station Talents Awards. Its a Sci-fi themed action videogame based on the Wu legend (from asian mithology).
I collaborated in the concept department, designing the base and structure of the basic enemy units. Later on, I was assigned for environments, props, and finally, a provisional design of the main cover.
For the enemy basic character, I broke it down into anatomy, external armour variations, weapons, etc, so it would be easier to make more different units out of the same structure.
Prop designs for collectible items which are displayed in 2D.
