I reiterate humanitarian request I need that UNHCR help me save my life Dear UNHCR authorities: Thank you for taking the time to read me. I’m writing to you again regarding my situation: the state of total helplessness I meet, to the point that I might die. Quite honestly, I live in a constant state of anxiety because I don’t want to die now and I don’t want to die in a foreign country. My name is Manuel Castro Rodríguez. I have 65 years old. I was born on February 7, 1949, in Havana, Cuba. The only citizenship that I have is Cuban.
I am a leftist opponent of the Castro’s dictatorship, because I have a deep sense of humanism and I love the freedom. It is my website. I am an unemployed professor from early year 2012, due to I refuse to make illegal acts in the Universidad Marítima Internacional de Panamá and besides, I was fight for to change things for the better Panamanian education. I am guided by these words of Martin Luther King: “There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor political, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.”
